This year the hoping to build on their pre-season success in the hope of returning the Varsity Trophy to St Andrews . 🏆

“Excitement has been building throughout the squad as we have gone through pre-season. Competition for jerseys is fierce and all the boys have been putting their best foot forward in training and in our warm up matches. Whoever gets on that pitch will be doing everything in their power to ensure we bring the trophy back home with us, and those who unfortunately miss out on selection will know they have played a massive part in the squads preparation.”

The Scottish Varsity Match – believed to be the oldest Varsity match in the world!

The first varsity fixture took place in the 1860's & was played sporadically over the next 40 years until the early 1900's when more regular fixtures took place.

This Year the match will be played on Saturday 21st September at Hive Stadium, Edinburgh in a historic first!
