Race Report Scottish Supermoto Rnd 4

Afternoon missing free practice due to Harris being unwell we turned up for Morning warm up straight into qualifying.

Qualifying
Nothing but rain, with this being our first wet session of the season and on the KTM it was a case of go out and just do what you can. Surprisingly putting us P4 on the grid.

Race 1
Last minute tyre change as the rain had stopped but with a damp track Harris said he will find the grip and make it work but Dad forgot to take the wet knee sliders off meaning Harris struggled with getting as much lean angle on the bike and holding on to 4th.

Race 2
Now with dry knee sliders on and a completely dry track Harris found a few places to work on got up into and finished the race in 3rd.

Race 3
Starting 3rd on the grid it was a mirror of race 2 knowing we didnt quite have the pace for 2nd as we are struggling with understeer on corner exit.

Great to finish the weekend with 3rd overall and Harris going into the last 2 rounds leading the Scottish Supermini Championship and being awarded Snr supermini Rider of the day.

Thanks to all the organisers and Marshalls for a great event.

Scottish supermoto Rnd 3 Race report

Brilliant weekend for Harris taking P2 overall in the Senior Supermini class on the KTM. Alot still to learn stepping up and racing in the adult class this season.

Qualifying - P2 on the grid

Race 1 - P2
Harris got the hole shot into turn 1 and lead the race for 7 laps until running wide onto the gravel exiting turn 2 and dropping to 2nd.

Race 2 - P2
Hole shot again into turn 1 lead the race for 2 laps but struggled with the bike jumping out of 6th gear into 5th and managing until the end of the race.

Race 3 - P2
Exactly the same as Race 2 having to manage the bike jumping from 6th to 5th until the end of the race best he can.

Some great battles this weekend we'll done to everyone who took part and the event organisers, Marshall and supporters.

Next is to strip the bike find a problem and get set for the next round inn1 months time.

Our plans are under way for next season and here is his design for 2026. Let's hope Harris can get a full season out of them and slow the growing down 😅

We used RBS leathers in 2025 and they were superb.
