🚨 Big News from CK Coaching! 🚨

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Gavin Marshal to the CK Coaching family!

Gavin has been with us for the past few months, mainly supporting our younger players’ sessions, and he’s already making a huge impact. ⚽️ An experienced UEFA Licensed Coach with extensive experience across both senior and junior football, Gavin is currently working towards his UEFA B Licence.

Having worked alongside him, I’ve seen firsthand the quality he brings to every session. His knowledge, coaching style, and ability to inspire and develop players of all ages and abilities make him an incredible addition to our team.

Gavin will continue to work alongside me in our group sessions, and he’s now offering 1-to-1 sessions, paired sessions, and small group coaching.

🌟 MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO ALYSSA! 🌟

I’ve posted about Alyssa on several occasions because she’s one of those players who quietly goes about her business and doesn’t always get the recognition she deserves.

Well, tonight she absolutely got it! 👏

At the Spartans Next Gen Awards Night, Alyssa picked up not one, but TWO fantastic awards:
🏆 Goal of the Season
🏆 Most Improved Player

And if that wasn’t enough, she was also given the brilliant news that she will be staying on with the club in the Under-17s next season! 💚

I honestly couldn’t be prouder of this young lady. Alyssa is the definition of hard work, commitment, and dedication. She turns up, puts the work in, keeps improving, and never stops believing in herself.

Tonight she reaped the rewards of everything she’s worked so hard for, and every bit of it is thoroughly deserved.

Keep shining, Alyssa. Your journey is only just beginning, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. ⭐️⚽

Something a wee bit different tonight with the Danderhall Women’s side 👌⚽

The season might be over for the girls, but for those who were available, we got together for a session to keep them ticking over and sharp during the break.

I was absolutely delighted with the attitude and application from everyone. The girls worked hard throughout, took on the information, and most importantly put it into practice.

Tonight was all about the football — control, passing, movement, communication, and understanding the weight of pass. Simple things done well, with plenty of quality on show.

There was loads of fun mixed in too, and I loved the answers and engagement I was getting when asking questions. It’s great to see players thinking about the game and understanding the “why” behind what we’re doing.

Massive well done to all the girls who came along tonight. 👏💙

Thanks for bringing such a positive attitude, great energy, and a real willingness to learn. That’s exactly the kind of mentality that helps players keep improving.
