Have you been at the gym and felt that you wanted to walk out the very first second?

Don’t blame you!

I’ve been there and felt the same.

That’s why I’ve written these 7 tips that helped me overcome the anxiety. ⬇️

1. Plan your visit📅: Avoid peak hours by visiting during off-peak times. Early mornings or late evenings can be quieter!

2. Set realistic goals 🎯: Start with small, manageable workouts. Progress at your own pace!

3. Familiarise with the equipment🏋️‍♂️: Familiarize yourself with the equipment during quieter hours or ask a staff member for a quick tour.

4. Workout with a friend👯‍♂️: Working out with a friend can boost your confidence and make your gym time more fun!

5. Focus on yourself 🧘: Remember, everyone is focused on their own goals. Your journey is about you, not them!

6. Join a Class 🤸‍♀️: Classes can be a great way to get structured guidance and feel part of the gym community.

7. Remember the benefits 🙌: Regular exercise improves mood, health, and overall well-being. You're doing great!

Today’s the day most people try to get back to their normal routine.

Are you feeling lost with where to begin?

Here’s a simple, effective roadmap to achieving your fitness goals ⬇️

1️⃣ Set Realistic Goals: Dream big but start small. Aim for achievable targets - like losing a few pounds a month, or jogging a little further each week.

2️⃣ Create a Balanced Diet Plan: Forget fad diets! Focus on a balanced diet with plenty of vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Remember, moderation is key.

3️⃣ Regular Exercise is a Must: Mix it up with cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises. Aim for at least 30-45 minutes a day, 3 days a week.

4️⃣ Stay Hydrated: Water is your best friend. Aim for 8 glasses a day to keep your body refreshed and to aid in weight loss.

5️⃣ Rest is Crucial: Don’t underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep. It helps in muscle recovery and keeps your metabolism in check.

6️⃣ Track Your Progress: Keep a journal or use a fitness app. Celebrate small victories to stay motivated!

7️⃣ Seek Support: Join a fitness group or find a workout buddy. Having someone to share your journey with can make a huge difference.

Remember, consistency is key. It's about making small, sustainable changes, not drastic overnight transformations.

Here are some tips that will help you stay on track:

1. Mindful Eating: Encourage eating slowly and savoring each bite to prevent overeating.

2. Portion Control: Use smaller plates and be conscious of serving sizes.

3. Balanced Choices: Include a mix of veggies, lean proteins, and whole grains in meals.

4. Stay Active: Promote regular, fun physical activities like family walks or dance-offs.

5. Hydration is Key: Drink plenty of water; it helps with feeling full and aids digestion.

6. Limit Sugary Treats: Opt for healthier alternatives or smaller portions of holiday sweets.

7. Alcohol in Moderation: Be aware of the calories in festive drinks and choose lighter options.

8. Focus on Fellowship: Emphasise the joy of gathering, not just the food.

9. Relax and Enjoy: Remember! It's okay to indulge occasionally without guilt.

For years, felt trapped in a cycle of endless gym classes, measuring her progress solely by the numbers on the scale.

This approach left her feeling frustrated and exhausted, as the scale often didn't reflect her hard work and dedication.

But then, Charlotte made a game-changing shift in perspective.

Instead of letting the scale dictate her mood and self-worth, she focused on her strength gains and how she felt after each workout.

Charlotte began celebrating her body's ability to lift heavier, endure longer, and perform better.

Each gym session became an opportunity to marvel at her growing strength, rather than a trial to endure for the sake of a number.

This new mindset brought joy and a sense of accomplishment to her workouts, replacing the old feelings of exhaustion and disappointment.

I recently had the joy of taking a much-needed holiday. 🏖️

Though I intended to switch off from work, I couldn't help but notice a trend that truly struck a chord with me. 🤔

As I lounged by the pool, I observed many women who, instead of basking in the sun in their swimwear, were cautiously covered in jumpers or wrapped in cover-ups even while taking a dip. 🏊‍♀️

This sight sparked a realization: comfort and confidence in swimwear is a universal need.

There’s still so many people out there who struggle to take their top off. 😔

Imagine how you would feel with 20 lbs less next time you are trying on swimwear? 🤷‍♀️👙
