East fortune round 4
Weekend started good, solid laps in practice and qualifying, was starting P21 too many fast guys in PI600,
Race one was going well in some good battles and with a group, made a mistake into turn one ran wide and had to ride the main straight off the track edge which ruined any shot I’d have at making any more passes but managed a 1.10.9 which I was mega with as that was the goal for the weekend
Race 2 got a s**t start and the group I was with in race one broke away so just banged some steady laps and brought it home.
Race 3 decided I wasn’t going out too early and the weather cleared up and I wasn’t ready so that one was missed
Race 4 one lap one the bolt holding the shifter arm in snapped so that was a quick end.
Not the best weekend not the worst had a mega time on the sidecar taxi ride tho.

East fortune race report
Overall great weekend off to a gentle start in morning warmup on sat, iffy conditions so thought better of pushing, qualified P20 for the weekend not horrendous weather considering,
Race 1 - P12 first Scottish champ points
Race 2 - P18
Race 3 - P18
Race 4 - P16
All 4 races finished and dropped 2.8 seconds off my fastest lap, majour improvement in consistency, managed 5 1.11 laps in the last race holding for a sub 1.110 next time
Onto the next round in a few weeks

Great weekend started and finished every race
Qualified P9 in the split class out with JPC and classic super bikes

Race 1 P2 in class P23 overall
Race 2 P2 in class P21 overall had a great battle with a ZX7
Race 3 P2 in class P24 overall
Race 4 P3 in class P20 overall
Back into the 1.15s and consistent laps across the races

Back out for next Scottish round east fortune 11th/12th of July

East fortune Tom dickie round

Race 1 - DNF
Race 2 - P13
Race 3 - P13

Weekend ended better than it had started, after the spill at Knockhill confidence had taken a massive hit, going into morning practice I had nothing but issue with the quick shifter again, missing gears false neutrals so the whole session was a write off, turned the quick shifter off and went out for qualifying and it was a different bike to ride never missed a beat, P14 for qualifying, race one I had an issue with the gear shifter linkage coming loose so that made every lap harder and harder to reach the shifter, eventually ran out of fuel and came back round in the van of shame, Sunday was miles better, race 2 finished last and same again race 3, decided not to go out in the final race, over all happy with the weekend the main goal of the weekend was to just get back on the bike and spin laps so happy to finish 2/3 of the races I started and got a lot more room to push on again next time I’m out.

Wee Race report from first race weekend at east fortune, few teething issue with the bike but nothing major, qualified p18, Race one finished p18 again, Race 2 issue with the quick shifter on corner exit cost me a few places so finished p17, Race 3 DNF again more quick shifter issues put me out of the race but other wise great first weekend, walked away with 1:13.8 lap during race two can't wait for next round in a few weeks
