Edenbridge Community First Responders Edenbridge Community First Responders are trained volunteers who respond to 999 calls on behalf of South East Coast Ambulance Services.

Edenbridge Community First Responders are volunteers trained to respond to emergency 999 calls on behalf of South East Coast Ambulance Service. Whilst an ambulance is being dispatched, Community First Responders are able to respond to emergency incidents within the first few critical minutes of a call. A Community First Responder:
• Is alerted to an incident at the same time as an NHS Ambulance
•

Lives or works within the community and will usually arrive at an incident prior to the arrival of the emergency services
• Will arrive on scene within the first few minutes of someone falling ill or injured to deliver emergency and possible life saving treatment
• Aims to prevent a patient from getting worse and reassure both patient and relatives. Edenbridge Community First Responders are volunteers who have undergone intensive training and assessment from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb). Fully screened and DBS checked, every volunteer abides to the SECAmb code of practice and follows their safeguarding policies and procedures.

‼️Morning Edenbridge‼️
Hope everyone enjoyed last night. The field is full of rubbish as always and we need your help. We have system in place and ask volunteers to help us clear this but we had lots of cancellations last minute.
If you can spare us some of your time this morning to do some litter picking please?
More people turn up faster it’s done.
