Presentation night 2026! It’s been a great season for our yellows 👏🏼 Gaining promotion back to the top division and winning the October cup 🏆 The effort and commitment these boys have shown all season really is something they should all be proud of 👏🏼
Every player has developed so much this season and it really is a joy to watch them playing football, having fun with their mates and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
We couldn’t ask for a better bunch of lads💛

It’s the end of the road for the yellows…..
The boys gave it their all but just fell short today. We defended well as a team for most of the game but it just didn’t quite click for us in the final third.
We gave a strong opposition a real game and we can walk away with our heads held high. On another day the result could have swung in our favour.
Despite today’s result it has been a very successful season for the boys. Winning the cup earlier on in the season 🏆 and hopefully securing promotion back into the A division for next season. Well done yellows 👏🏼💛

Parents player of the match- Harry M. Harry dealt with everything that was thrown at him today 💪🏼 Making some vital last ditch tackles and blocks to keep his team in the game. We also gave him a job to do higher up the pitch and he was excellent. It’s great to see him playing with more confidence🔥

Player of the match- Kayson. He has had a fantastic end to the season, putting together a great run of games and similar to Harry, he is playing with real confidence which is great to see 👏🏼 He was relentless today and drove his team up the pitch at every opportunity! His passing out from defence was a joy to watch 🔥 Great performance 🙌🏼

This evening we travelled to Barnsley to play our final league game of the season against a well drilled AFC Pogmoor. We asked for a fast start and the boys did exactly that 🔥
Playing some fantastic football and scoring some great team goals. It was pleasing to see us scoring goals from positions we have been working on in training. The hard work they put into training each week is definitely paying off👏🏼
Tonight was a great way to end the season and hopefully the boys have done enough to earn promotion back to the A division 🤞🏼
No matter what happens in Sunday’s Semi final, it has been a great season and we are all super proud of you 🫶🏻 UTY 💛

Parents player of the match- Freddy. Once again this lad was outstanding 🔥 He worked his socks off for the team and was all over the pitch! His defensive work was also outstanding 💪🏼
He managed to grab himself a goal and an assist for the yellows tonight! Well played Freddy 👏🏼

Player of the match- Harry P. Another rock solid display for our very own Mr consistent. Solid in his tackles and always prepared to put his body on the line for the team 💪🏼 It was great to see him driving out with the ball and playing the forward passes with real confidence 👏🏼 Faultless display tonight Harry 🔥

The yellows go marching on 💛
Today was a tough test for our boys and credit to Eckington Blues for making it difficult for us!
It was a real battle which was won by one moment of quality. Our defence and goalkeeper stood solid the whole game as we picked up another clean sheet 💪🏼 Our attention now turns to the semi final where we will meet another established A division side. C’mon you YELLOWS 👏🏼👏🏼

Parent’s player of the match- Jacob. Another outstanding performance from this lad! He is consistently playing to such a high standard and it’s a joy to watch 👏🏼 He covered every blade of grass today, working so hard for the team! When we needed him the most, he popped up with a moment of magic and fired his team into the semi finals ⚽️🔥 Well done Jacob!

Player of the match- Oscar. A fine display between the sticks for our number 1 👏🏼 He didn’t put a foot wrong all game. His kicking and distribution was superb and when his team needed him to get us out of trouble, he did exactly that! 🔥 Making some crucial saves to protect the clean sheet! Very well deserved Oscar 🙌🏼

Today we travelled away to play Redfearns. A team that play their football in the A division. We knew we would have to be at our best to have a chance of progressing through to the next round. After a slow start and going two goals down early on, the boys dug deep and rallied to produce an outstanding comeback 💪🏼🔥
They showed real grit and determination to not only get back into the game, but to go on and put the game to bed 👊🏼 Fantastic effort from the whole team 👏🏼

Parents player of the match- Preston. When this lad plays with a smile on his face he is unplayable 🔥 He worked tirelessly all game and put a real shift in for the team! As well as his constant attacking threat, it was great to see him working so hard defensively 💪🏼 He was on fire in front of goal today, scoring a hat trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️ Great performance 👏🏼

Player of the match- TEAM 🔥 The coaches couldn’t pick a single player today and opted for a team player of the match award. A superb effort from every player 👏🏼👏🏼 UTY 💛

Easter Sunday and the boys delivered the goods 👏🏼 We had a game plan from the start to press high and not give the opposition time to settle on the ball. A plan that we executed!
Over the last few games the lads have been relentless, turning up to games switched on and really digging in deep for each other on the pitch. 💪🏼 The football on display is a joy to watch! Keep up the good work 🔥

Player of the match- Harry P. Absolutely rock solid at the back 💪🏼 Winning every 50/50, showing a real desire to get his body in the way of the ball and making countless blocks inside our box to prevent the opposition scoring! Also playing out wide he showed a great desire to turn over possession and get us up the pitch.
A real grafters performance today Harry 👏🏼 Well done!

He won his battles in the middle from start to finish, constantly turning over possession and always getting his head up and looking to play positive forward passes. Another week, another top team performance👏🏼
Coming into today’s game, we knew we would have to perform at a high level to get anything from the game. Credit to the boys, they were faultless from start to finish 🔥 The attacking football on display was a joy to watch! The work rate was outstanding from everyone, we defended as unit, kept our concentration through spells we were under pressure and fully deserved the clean sheet today 💪🏼
Another week where the awards could have gone to any player on the pitch.

Player of the match- Jacob. This lad just keeps on getting better each week. Constantly driving his team up the pitch and causing the opposition problems 🔥 While he only registered one assist, he could have had a hat full. He will be having nightmares about the woodwork tonight as he managed to strike it three times 😂 On another day he walks away with a hat trick.
Keep up the good work 👏🏼

Parent’s player of the match- Kayson. This lad has been class lately and has been very unlucky not to pick up this award over the last few weeks! Today he was outstanding 🔥 He was solid in his tackles, made some great interceptions and played the ball forward quickly at every opportunity, getting his team on the front foot. Also adding a vital goal from outside the box ⚽️ Quality performance 👏🏼
