First game of the season this Sunday for the boys, and we’re away to Gwernyfed! 🏉

We faced Gwernyfed last season and the two sides were very evenly matched, so we hope this will make for a great game to kick off the new season.

The boys are ready to get back out there and we’re really looking forward to this one! 💪

🏉 PLAYERS WANTED – U11s / U12s 🏉

Our Ebbw Vale Steelers joint U11s/U12s are looking to welcome new players for the 2026/27 season! ❤️💚

With the move to 15-a-side rugby this season, we're looking to grow our squad — creating plenty of opportunities for players to get valuable game time throughout the season.

Whether your child has played rugby before or has never picked up a rugby ball, we'd love them to come along and give it a try!

🏉 Current school Years 6 & 7
🏉 Weekly fixtures
🏉 Training every Wednesday 6pm-7pm
🏉 Additional Monday sessions (depending on coach /player availability)
🏉 All abilities welcome
🏉 Make new friends & become part of a team
🏉 Develop skills, fitness & confidence

As we move into competitive rugby, our coaches have a strong focus on player development, teamwork and building confidence on the pitch.

It's a great time to join the squad, develop your game and become part of the Steelers as we take this next step together. 💪🏉
