Running around doing the admin, planning the sessions and working to keep everyone safe are these three women. We'll get to know the better over the next few weeks, but we thought it's always good to put faces to a programme!
Chanel - has been with Brighton Uni since 2012 and is now working on her PhD, looking at how best to improve quality of life in women living with and beyond breast cancer through exercise. She loves working with different people and finding ways through their barriers to exercise. A qualified cancer and exercise specialist, Chanel can switch from the lab to the gym floor with ease and thinks it's important to get the research where it's needed most - to you!
Steph - Having spent over 20 years as a nurse, she now spends her time running all over the county running different rehab classes and even teaches at our sister programme Active Hearts. Our lead instructor for this programme, you'll be in safe hands!
Louisa - A senior lecturer and course leader for Sport and Exercise Science at Brighton, she strongly advocates for exercise rehabilitation and has been involved with plenty of research over the years trying to find ways to help those with chronic illnesses get back to their daily lives. She's the co-ordinator of both this programme and our Active Hearts.
