🚨🧤CALLING ALL GOALKEEPERS🧤🚨

Islington Borough Ladies FC is looking for a goalkeeper to join our 11-a-side reserves team for the 2025/26 season ⚽

Our reserves team play on Sunday afternoons in Division 1 North of the Greater London Women’s Football League.

🗓 Games: Every Sunday
🏋️‍♀️ Training: Every Wednesday (7pm-9pm)

We’re looking for someone who can commit consistently throughout the season. So if you’re passionate about the game and think you could give a run for her money, we’d love to hear from you 😉

Strong start to the Arsenal U14 mini-league with a 3-0 win over London Football School 🙌

Super goals from Milena, Skye, and Jess sealed the deal. Big shoutout to Keiti for some excellent saves late on to help keep the clean sheet 🚫

⚽️ Youth Team Trials at Islington Borough Ladies FC!

🫵 Join our Capital Girls League teams for the 25/26 season!

ℹ️ We’re running open trials for our youth teams (U14–U18), who play on Saturday mornings in the Capital Girls League. Home matches are at St Aloysius College Playing Fields (N6 5TX) or Whittington Park (N19 4RS).

Our youth teams are a key part of our player development pathway, offering a clear route into senior women’s football. Players can progress into our First Team (Premier Division) or Reserves (Division 1 North), who play in the Greater London Women’s Football League.

A really enjoyable day with the coaches at an event run by Cadbury UK and Arsenal in the Community .
It had certainly been a while since some had played but it was fun and an honour to play on the Emirates pitch and a few coaches even managed to make it to the final! Well done all!

Shout out to first team baller Mia who stepped up for captain duties 🫡

0-0 but felt like a win.

Mia was an absolute beast on the pitch, led by example and put in a massive shift 🔥

The whole team dug deep and played the full 90 in the heat with no subs. Big thanks to our reserves players Annie, Sydney, Vicky & Maddy for stepping in and smashing it too 🥵

So proud of IBLFC superstar Nicole for completing the London Marathon 🔥🔥🔥
 Nic is a proper warrior both on and off the pitch, and an all round lovely human. She took on this incredible challenge to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Now. A charity close to her heart 💗

Along the route she was cheered on by fellow teammates at different points, whose support no doubt helped spur her on.

Massive congrats to GeriHatricks for WINNING the league 🎉🎉🎉

What a title decider. 3-3 at half-time, 5-5 in the final minutes, both teams hitting the crossbar, but GeriHatricks secured the win with some quality finishes 🔥
 Shoutout to Spice Goals for pushing to the end in an absolute thriller 👏

The league returns on Sunday 27th April with 12 teams across two divisions. New players are welcome, so now’s the perfect time to get involved 😄
