📅 AUDITION DETAILS
Date: Monday, 22nd June
♦️Requirement: Must attend other CDA main classes♦️
Juniors (6–11 years): 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Both Juniors & Seniors: 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Seniors (12–16 years): 6:30 PM – 7:15 PM
Please note: All auditions are held in groups.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: YOU MUST CONFIRM ATTENDANCE! ⚠️
Places are limited, and we need to know exactly who is coming. Selection isn’t just about the dance—behaviour, attendance, support, and promptness will also be taken into account!

💭 Myth Busting Monday

MYTH: Inclusion means treating every child the same.

❌ Not true.

Inclusion isn’t about giving every child exactly the same experience.

It’s about giving every child what they need to succeed.

Some children may need ear defenders.

Some may need a visual prompt.

Some may need a slightly later arrival time.

Some may need extra processing time.

Some may need a trusted adult nearby.

The goal isn’t equality.

The goal is accessibility.

Imagine asking every child to wear the same size dance shoes. We know that wouldn’t work because every child is different.

The same is true when it comes to learning, communication, sensory needs and confidence.

When we treat every child exactly the same, we can unintentionally create barriers.

When we recognise and respond to individual needs, we create opportunities for every child to thrive.

💛 Fair isn’t everyone getting the same thing.

✨ STUDENT SPOTLIGHT ✨

This week, we’re celebrating two very special dancers – Lillie and Phoenix! 💜
After years of training, growing, and supporting each other at CDA, this competition season they finally had the opportunity to perform a duet together. Watching these two take the stage side by side was such a proud moment for everyone at the academy.

Their journey is a wonderful example of what dedication, commitment, and perseverance can achieve. Both dancers have spent countless hours in the studio, continually challenging themselves, developing their skills, and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow.

What makes this duet even more special is the friendship, trust, and connection they have built over the years. Their hard work shone through in every moment of their performance, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young dancers they have become.

Lillie and Phoenix, thank you for your positive attitude, determination, and passion for dance. You inspire our younger students every day, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. 🌟

What an incredible weekend for our Creationz Competition Team at Synergy Dance Competition in Aldershot! ✨

Firstly, a huge thank you to the wonderful organisers for putting on such a fantastic event. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was so welcoming, and our dancers had the best time doing what they love most. 💜

We are beyond proud of every single performer who stepped onto that stage. Every dancer gave 100%, showed incredible dedication, passion and confidence, and represented Creationz beautifully. Watching their hard work shine through was truly special, and we couldn’t be happier with how the weekend went!
