BLTC held their club championships today and after a wet start to the day tension was high but the weather improved and play commenced , although a bit windy all matches got played . A coffee and cake event with stalls selling jam , plants , home baked cakes , jewellery and hand crafted cards helped to raise money to continue with club development. Here are a few snapshots of the day but we do have more to follow . Well done to all of our competitors and thanks to all who helped to get this show on the road , a brilliant team effort 😀👍

Well done to our Ladies Vets third team who won their match against Gosforth third's , 5 sets to 3 , this secures their place in their division for next year . Well done ladies 👍

It's BLTC Club Finals day , Saturday 12 September . Come along and watch some great tennis . Matches start at 11am . Coffee and Cake event running alongside to eat in or take away . Home made Jam , Cards , Jewelry and plant stall too . All welcome

Well done to our mens 4th team who won their match against Morpeth tonight 7-5 which puts them at the top of their League and secures promotion next year . Well done chaps 👍🏆🏆

Well done to our Mixed Vets 4th team who won their match tonight against Rockcliffe . It was a very close match ending in 4 sets all but Boldon clinched it by 3 games . Well done Team Boldon

Well done to Jill and Janice from our club who were playing for the County in 060 league

They won both matches.
4-0 v Suffolk
3-1 v Norfolk.
Anne (Yarm) and Christine (Durham Archery) were playing too .
Depending on the results of outstanding matches they have a chance of promotion to Division 1 (they play in Division 2B of over 60).
Great weekend was had by all

A win for our 060 mixed second team against David Lloyd Sunderland . Sadly they were unable to field a full team but well done to them for playing the match , but It was a 6-2 win for Boldon . Geoff and Les seem to have nipped off before the washing up 🤣. Well done Team Boldon 👍

A good win today for our ladies 060 team who battled in very strong winds to win their match against Jesmond 7 sets to 1 . Well done ladies 👍
