“Only look back to see how far you’ve come”🥹

I just had to jump on this trend! WOW 9 months ago our renovations started on this huge, rundown, unused building and I truly can’t believe what has been achieved in just 9 MONTHS! We’ve had an incredible group of people working their absolute socks of every single day to bring the vision of the empowered collective alive & I truly can’t put into words how much I appreciate everything!

It’s not been plain sailing by any means, we’ve learnt a lot along the way but the one thing that has been unwavering is the passion and desire to see the building come to life.. a whole new coffee shop, salon, rental space for independent beauticians/aesthetics and a whole unit out back for community use - with everything from fitness to children’s imaginative play😍

The best part? We’re just getting started 😎

Just a reminder: anything is possible, if you put your mind to it & work hard… Just a woman (& her team of superstars) with big aspirations, motivation & a whole lot of determination! 💪🏼

Owning my own business, creating such incredible spaces for local people & local businesses has and will always be my passion.. Proud of what I’ve achieved, which is absolutely beyond my wildest dreams & even prouder of what’s to come😍

One mistake in business that taught me everything? Underpricing my services! At the time it felt like the right move… Keep it affordable, say yes to everything, don’t scare people off.

But what it actually did was:
– Attract the wrong clients
– Blur my boundaries
– Burn me out trying to overdeliver
– And make it 10x harder to raise my prices later

Underpricing doesn’t just affect your income… It affects your confidence, your positioning and how seriously people take you.

The shift? I stopped charging based on fear… and started charging based on value. Because the right customers don’t question your prices, they’re already looking for what you offer…

If I could go back, I’d spend less time trying to get everything perfect and instead spend more time just getting started.

It’s so easy to sit in the planning stage because it feels safe there. But growth happens when YOU take action even when it’s messy, even when you’re unsure. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. You just need to take the first step & believe in yourself!
