Hinckley AFC U14 Phoenix rounded off their pre-season with a hard-fought draw against a strong Ashfordby Panthers side.

In a closely contested game, the hosts took the lead midway through the first half.

Hinckley AFC responded well after the break and deservedly levelled early in the second half with a wonderful long-range strike from Devon Trower — a real moment of magic!

Overall, it was a fantastic battle between two well-matched teams and a superb game to watch.

Our player of the match went to Sam Bedford who impressed at right back.

A big thank you to Ashfordby for the game, and best of luck for the new season! 👏

Weekly Round Up!

For those wanting to see the MJPL u14s Lions in action at home thursday night. Their game is now postponed. However, the U14s Phoenix are away again Sunday, if you fancy another road trip, they play Birstall United 12.30 Kick Off.

The U16's Girls play their first game at home vs Loughborough Foxes Sunday with a 1pm kick off on the 4G at Heath Lane Academy ⚽️
