🏑 RESULT 🏑

🔥 Three from three! Our lads made it a hat-trick of wins on Saturday, seeing off Kilburn Gaels 2-17 to 0-8 in the rescheduled Round 3 clash.

Another dominant performance that keeps us top of the table and - with two rounds still to play - has already booked our spot in the semi-final this October. Brilliant stuff, lads!

Next up: Fulham Irish this Sunday, 1pm, at London GAA HQ, McGovern Park. It’s shaping up to be a tough battle, all support welcome! Stick around after the final whistle for a pint and a bite in the clubhouse, kindly laid on by John McDermott.

Training continues Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:45pm, at Wasps FC, W3 9QA. Our transfer window is still open - new players always welcome, so why not come down and give it a go?

Our lads followed up a big win in Round 1 of championship with another big win in Round 2 vs Granuaile! A clinical performance from the team, and brilliant to see a couple of debutants take the field. 👏

2 from 2 in the round robin means we’re top of the table on score difference, with our semi-final spot all but secured with 3 games left to play.

Thanks to Moloney's Bar Willesden (Greenford) for hosting us after the match — great food and pints enjoyed by players, friends and supporters.

All focus now turns to September, where we play 3 consecutive weekends to finish out the group stages. Training continues every Tues & Thurs at Wasps FC, Ealing.

🏌️ GOLF CLASSIC 2026 🏌️‍♂️

We held a hugely successful Golf Classic at West Middlesex Golf Club in June 2026. A great day's golfing was had by all, and we congratulate Team Sheehy, the overall winners on the day and congratulations to our winners of longest drive, nearest the pin, best overall score, best female score winners and all those who won raffle prizes.

We'd like to thank all our sponsors and the teams who entered for their generous support — we had 12 teams on the day. A special mention to our main sponsors, GCL and JTRE, and thanks to everyone who sponsored a page, a tee, or a green.

A special thanks to the staff at West Middlesex for their hospitality, including Danny for the wonderful food throughout the day.

Finally, thank you to our committee for their massive effort in raising funds for this event: Ollie Sheehy, David Donohoe, Justin Mann, Jimmy Howlin, Tony Carroll, Tom Neville, Sean Howlin & Siobhan Talbott. All proceeds will be reinvested into the club, with the bulk going towards our new pitch at Wasps RFC.

A big win for the lads yesterday. 💪

Great result in Round 1 of the Intermediate Championship at McGovern Park yesterday! Even with several regulars missing, the boys put in a performance and got the job done. Massive credit to the players and management for getting the first two points on the board.

Focus now shifts to Round 2 in two weeks, with training sessions ramping up in preparation.

🏆 RONAN CUP WINNERS 🏆

Congratulations to our players and management on a big win in the Ronan Cup Final at McGovern Park on Tuesday, 5-16 to 1-12. Joint captains Matt Murphy and Eoin O’Leary received the cup from London chair Tony O’Halloran.

It’s been a great week for the club all round — results in the final round of senior league fixtures confirmed our division one status for 2027. Promoted teams are usually relegated straight back down, so this is a big achievement. Well done to our players and management, huge effort rewarded.

Focus now turns to the intermediate championship. Training continues Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm in Wasps. Our first championship game is next Sunday, 2nd August, at McGovern Park, Ruislip, 12pm vs Cuchulainns. All support welcome.
