With over 30 years teaching internationally, Jane is the back-pain warrior, mum-of-three who appreciates the aches and pains and juggling in our lives. Her programmes will introduce you to effective “fitness snippets” to put into your daily life as well as traditional online and offline group or individual classes. Her philosophy is based on the premise that our fitness regime needs to fit into ou

r hectic schedules and give us a moment to slow down. Her fitness snippets will help you to bring exercises into your daily life at home/anywhere so you can do the best you can today. Benefits are lower levels of guilt and stress leading to a long-term approach to exercise which is more effective physically and mentally. Do what you can, when you can and where you can! Pilates and stretching were born for this format! Do you need to reach up high to get something from a high shelf? Do you have to bend down to hug your grandchildren? Squat, balance and squeeze! Do you need to reach down and forward to pick up something up from the floor? Abs tissue exercise! Intrigued? The best exercises are those you need! Jane's combination of Pilates, yoga and physio techniques, together with strength and cardio exercises, aim to wake up those lazier muscles and manage those overzealous muscles, which together can be the source of postural problems, ongoing aches, muscle strain and fatigue! Jane offers a range of specialised programmes which she has developed from her own ailments and her clients’ issues with input from physiotherapists and osteopaths (thank you to all). They incorporate options for injuries, weaknesses, imbalances with specific programmes for post-surgery (hip, knee, back and neck), prenatal and post-natal.

How's the new fitness regime going? Was January brilliant, February flagging and March you are struggling to do anything. Get re-started by walking somewhere instead of taking the car. Many of us beat ourselves about not doing their exercise often enough...stop! congratulate yourself for walking a bit more, taking the stairs and not the lift or look how much movement you do when cleaning, cooking, gardening. A positive thought on these smaller exercise events...actually increase your will to exercise!

If you are inspired, my online pilates and fitness classes are 35 minutes for a reason...an hour is often too much! They are also drop in so only pay as you go not when you cannot!

Fun fact: dinner can be cooking while you are online exercising!

Hello hello, for some of us it is back to school (yeah! Did I say that too loudly?)...how about 2pm GMT pilates or workout on zoom? 35mins gives you just enough time before the stressful school run! Monday to Friday! Best Jane

Getting ready for summer, pilates tones as well as balances the muscles, the right with the left, the lazier muscles with the over zealous, large vs small movments, test the balance of your senses. We are challenging ourselves with new movement patterns...at first our bodies complain, then they love it and want more!
