For the mums who love their children deeply
but feel wrung out by December.

The build-up, the noise, the expectations, the tiredness…it can all sit on your chest a bit heavier than you expected.

I know how much you want to enjoy this time.
The Christmas outings, the cosy bits, the little traditions. Not just push through until it’s done.

And when you’re already running on empty, that can feel really hard.

If this month feels more like something to survive than something to really enjoy, there’s nothing wrong with you. It just means you’ve been carrying a lot for a long time.

For now, it’s okay to make things smaller.
To let one quiet moment be enough.
To say no to one more thing.
To enjoy what you can, without asking yourself to feel a certain way.

After Christmas, when things slow a little, I’ll be holding a small group coaching space for mums starting in January. It’s come from so many conversations with women who want support, but where 1:1 just hasn't felt possible right now. Somewhere steady and realistic to land once the rush has passed.

But right now, be gentle where you can.
Even one small, ordinary moment still counts.

If you want to know more about the January group DM me now.

This is a reminder for me too.
I’ve definitely found myself getting pulled into the December pressure of doing, planning, and trying to make everything feel “just right”.
And every time it happens, I have to bring myself back to the truth that it’s the small, simple moments that actually matter, the ones where I’m present, not perfect.

And honestly… my boys wouldn’t cope with a packed calendar of activities anyway.
A quieter, slower December works better for all of us.

If you need this reminder too, save it for the next couple of weeks.

December gets busy so quickly, and once the lists, school bits, work deadlines, Christmas prep and general chaos all stack up, it’s so easy to slip straight into survival mode without even noticing.
And honestly… I don’t think mums should have to just endure December.
You deserve moments that genuinely feel good too, even if life is loud, messy, and far from tidy.

Here are a few small, realistic shifts that actually help:

• Decide in advance what you’re not doing this year
(less pressure, less last-minute panic, more headspace)

• Lower the bar on the “extra” stuff
presents, plans, perfect evenings, choose what matters, drop what doesn’t

• Build tiny moments for yourself on purpose
a short walk alone, five minutes in the car, music or film you love while you wrap gifts

• Let the house be a bit messier so you can breathe
sometimes the washing can wait but your nervous system can’t

• Check where you are in your cycle
your capacity, patience and energy aren’t the same every week, you’re not meant to be a machine

• Catch yourself before adding “just one more thing”
ask: “Is this actually needed, or am I doing it because I always do?”

• And when there is a moment that feels cosy or special, actually let yourself be in it
The Christmas film on the sofa, the hot chocolate moment, the kids excited over nothing and everything…
Instead of rushing around them, sit for a minute. Let yourself notice it, so you get to feel it too.

None of this makes December calm or tidy, it just gives you more space to feel the lovely bits when they appear, instead of sprinting past all of them as we can do so easily.

If you want more reminders, support and gentle honesty about motherhood, overwhelm and hormones…
save this for later, and follow along for more. 💛

It can take you by surprise when that realisation lands, because you spend so long thinking it’s something about you; that you should cope better, stay calmer, be more organised, react less, hold it all together the way everyone assumes you can. You can carry that belief for years without even noticing it, and then something shifts, sometimes suddenly, sometimes slowly, and you see that you were never the problem in the first place. You were just carrying too much, for too long, without anyone really seeing the weight of it.

When I talk about that shift, I’m talking about what my clients have actually said afterwards, their words, the things that were shared when they finally felt understood. Things like feeling “a huge weight had shifted,” or feeling “freer,” or “more excited about the future,” or noticing they’d “started to do more things” for themselves without all the second-guessing. Some have said they finally “trusted their intuition,” or that they felt “properly understood,” or that the experience was “life changing.” Others have told me they felt “less stuck,” or that they could “see themselves with kinder, more loving eyes.” This is the natural outcome of finally having space to fully understand yourself.

That’s what this work really does: it brings you back to yourself in a way that feels steady and honest and realistic. You don’t turn into someone else. You start understanding yourself through a lens that was never given to you before. You see why things feel so much, rather than assuming you should magically cope. You begin responding to your own needs with a bit more kindness because you finally have the information and space that were missing. It’s learning yourself in a new way, one that actually supports you instead of working against you.

The Overwhelm Reset is open now - six weeks of support, clarity, and space to reconnect with yourself in the middle of real life.

These are my amazing clients’ words.
Real women. Real lives. Real shifts they didn’t think were necessarily possible for them.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, a bit lost, or like you’re running on fumes… these are the kinds of changes that happen when you finally have a space that’s actually for you.

The Overwhelm Reset is open now, and the Black Friday bonus session ends tonight at midnight.

If something in you is nudging you toward this, my DMs are open.
