⚽️PLAYER SPONSORSHIPS 2026/27 ⚽

Our season is starting and each of our Oakley Under 17’s players is looking for a Home and Away strip sponsor for the 2026/27 season.

Sponsorship is £30 per strip and is a fantastic way for local businesses, family and friends to support an individual player and help towards their funds.

If you’d like to sponsor one of the boys, please get in touch with the player’s parent, leave a comment on this post or message the team page.

It’s a great way to support the boys while also giving our sponsors regular exposure throughout the season.

Wishing Couper a speedy recovery.

All the team would like to wish Couper Parsons a speedy recovery. Unfortunately he fractured his ankle after a slide tackle while playing in a school game.

It’s complete rest for the next couple of weeks before he can gradually start some exercises to recover.

We know Couper will be desperate to get back on the pitch and work hard, but for now it’s all about rest and recovery so he can come back strong.

👏👏👏Congratulations to Quinn who was for the second week in a row our Man of the Match.

Another consistent performance from Quinn at the back in our first league game. He commanded the back line brilliantly, was strong in his tackles and showed great leadership throughout the game.

Well done Quinn.

👏👏👏 Congratulations to Matty who scored another goal in Saturdays first league game.

Kadir hit a brilliant strike from a distance that rattled the crossbar. Matty got the rebound and took a shot. The keeper managed to get to it but spilled the ball and Matty was ready and reacted quickly to tap it into the back of the net!

Well done Matty, keep the goals coming.

Unfortunately it was a disappointing result for the team today, but plenty of positives to take from the performance.

The first half saw us work incredibly hard and play some really good football. We competed well, moved the ball confidently and made things difficult for Milton, only conceding the opening goal close to half-time.

The scoreline doesn’t reflect the effort the team put in and their hard work that goes in every week at training. We’ll regroup, learn from it and go again next week for the Scottish Cup.

This is how our league looks for the season in the CSFA A division. New teams to the league, brand new teams formed, teams that have changed clubs and familiar teams. Looks a challenging and exciting season ahead.

Our league campaign starts this Saturday and the boys have used the League Cup, friendlies and hard work at training to prepare for it.

We’re ready and buzzing to get started.

Another night of hard work for the boys as they had a high intensity training session tonight with every one of them putting the effort in with great attitudes.

A big focus on shape and positioning drills tonight, working hard on our organisation both in and out of possession and continuing to build on how we want to play as a team.

Evan showed just how committed and buzzing he is about the season starting. Scrolling on Pro Direct for a new pair of boots, he spotted a pair in the Oakley colours and that was his decision was made. His boots now match our home kit and he’ll be looking for a goal on Saturday with his new Oakley boots.

Great choice Evan. Hope these boots bring the team loads of goals!!!
