Dunfermline Amateur Swimming Club are delighted to receive donations from Tesco Dalgety Bay to support the swimmers with heathy foods and drinks when competing.

This further supports the swimming club building good habits of healthy food the body needs backed also by our strength, conditioning and nutrition programme

We’re excited to be developing our partnership with Fife College and PT Robyn Drummond to deliver dedicated Strength & Conditioning sessions for our swimmers!

These sessions are all about helping our swimmers become stronger, more confident and better prepared for the demands of swimming, both in and out of the pool.

Congratulations to head coach Andrew Ross who has been selected as one of the coaches for the Scottish Swimming East District Junior Academy. As a club we are extremely proud, and excited that swimmers from outside of our club will benefit from his knowledge and experience. Well done Andrew!

Congratulations to Ryan and Eilidh who have been selected to take part in the Scottish National swimming programme for 2026/2027

Eilidh has been selected for Junior academy for a second year and Ryan will join the National Disability squad. They will attend training days with other swimmers selected from Scotland for pool, gym and educational based sessions.
It’s a fantastic achievement for them and the club is very proud to have them join this programme.

Diving into the weekend with our last day of training here in Mallorca at the BEST Centre. Brooke Gillies is joining the swimmers this morning for their session to be coached by John again! Brooke Gillies was coached by John Kirby at CSC from age 11-16. She was an “all round fantastic swimmer and delight to coach” and our paths crossed at the BEST Centre Mallorca this week on our training camp.
