With Varsity 2026 nearly a week behind us (photos soon I promise),we are sadly drawing closer to saying goodbye to our leavers at graduation. It's been a fantastic year for DUWBC as a whole and we couldn't have done it without all of the wonderful girls that make up the club, so to our leavers - this one's for you, we love you all so much and wish you all the best beyond uni ❤️🖤🤍

GAME RESULTS - Last week we took on Stirling once again in the Conference Cup finals in St Andrews! While it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, the team played spectacularly and we couldn’t have asked for more. A huge crowd from home showed up to cheer for us which is more than we could’ve asked for, so thank you, each and every one who sat at the sides and made some noise ❤️🖤
It was a bittersweet ending for some, as we saw four of our players play their last competitive match for Dundee University, , .k , and our madam president who we will miss dearly, thanks so much for what you girls have done for both the team and the wider club, we love you all 💕
All of our leavers will be back THIS WEDNESDAY for varsity! They’ll be playing Abertay University in a friendly match from 1pm, don’t miss it 🏀

Our recreational members met up for a little get together a couple of weeks ago, organised by the Recreational Team Captain, Chinaza. It was an evening filled with food, warmth, chats and a movie!
Our recreational team is for members that do not wish to play competitively or are learning the game 🏀⛹️‍♀️
It is a relaxed, welcoming space to build confidence, make friends and enjoy basketball (and the socials that come with it) at your own pace!
Whether you’re in for a yap, chilling with a film, or just showing up to have a go, you’re always welcome to join us ❤️

GAME DAY - Get ready folks! The conference cup tips off tomorrow at 4pm in St Andrews! We’re hoping for a huge crowd to come and support so if you’re able to make it please do! That’s a wrap for DUWBC 1vs5!! ❤️‍🔥

An absolute amazing night, thanks to our gorgeous contestants for the entertainment, the hosts, including the ones that took over, the committee for all the help, DEMS for the tunes & perfectly timed sound effects, Duck Slatterys for having us, and everyone that came along for bringing the best energy (& donations 😚)!!

We raised money for an amazing cause all because of you guys, we couldn’t thank you enough.

All photos taken on the night are on the google drive on our story, which will be put on the 1VS5 Highlight 🫶🏼

p.s congrats to for winning the £100!! 🤑
