Why get a PT/Coach?
1️⃣ Teach you how to lift weights safely and effectively with proper technique.
A PR:coach will teach you how to correctly perform exercises, and how to use the gym yourself, along with general gym etiquette.
Even if your goal is to create your own workouts and exercise by yourself, hiring a coach for a few sessions will give you the knowledge to go away train on your own.
2️⃣ Goal Setting and Program Design.
You could be a beginner looking for guidance or you could be experienced in the gym or an athlete. Regardless, getting a coach to write your program can be a great option if you want more focus & direction in your training. It's easy to fall out of work outs as they get boring or not challenging enough resulting in yourself making little or no progress.
Whether you're preparing for an upcoming competition or event, a competitive athlete or just a wanting some guidance/structure, getting a coach to design a program specific to your goals will help you achieve them.
3️⃣ They can challenge you to be better.
A coach can help push you during 1-1 sessions, that can be encouraging you to push yourself harder than you'd maybe be willing to work if you were by yourself, or giving you more confidence by spotting you on heavier lifts, which you'd be less confident to do on your own.
4️⃣ They can motivate you and keep you accountable.
With online coaching your coach will be able to see how your nutrition, workouts and exercise completion is going, all of which will probably be visible on a training app for them to see as well. Knowing that you'll have to report in can make you less likely to miss workouts and go off program when it comes to training and nutrition.
Similarly if you have a 1-1 coach, there will be times where you're struggling for motivation to go to the gym. However if you have paid for a 1-1 session & know your coach will be waiting for you at the gym, ready to put you through your session and motivate you throughout.
