Last time we faced them at home, they came out on top in a closely contested game. This time we’re on their ice looking to settle the score!

🏒 Bowl tournament summary🏒

This weekend saw our Galloway Grizzlies compete in their first Bowl tournament. A high standard was set by the competition and we were put to it from game 1, coming up against a strong Kraken team.

There were lots of positives to take from the weekend, with the team showing a fighting spirit with no lack of effort and hard work, as well as improving from game to game.

The team finished the weekend in 9th place, taking away a wealth of experience and camaraderie which will stand us in good stead going into future fixtures and hopefully see the W we have been so close to in the bank before the end of the season!

A big thanks to all players and coaches involved over the weekend end for their effort and the people who came along to support. Also a special mention for our MVP of the weekend Jamie Crosbie for some warrior like performances putting his body in the way of shots, sticks and players!

🏒 GAME WEEKEND 🏒

Join us for a whole weekend of hockey as 10 teams battle it out for the bowl tournament title. We have been seeded in Pool A, and will be playing the fixtures displayed. Sunday evening will see finalists fight it out for the title.

Games begin at 8:30am both days, finishing at almost 8pm, and best of all…entry is completely free!

What a game Saturday evening!

Another strong home performance from our Galloway Grizzlies in a tug of war contest where each team took it in turns to take the lead then fall behind. Unfortunately our home side just lost the edge in the final 10 minutes, going down by 3.

The game was another testament to how far the side has come, putting on a competitive performance from start to finish.

Thanks to The Mariners for a great game and our fanatic following rink side!

GAME DAY INCOMING 🏒

The Galloway Grizzlies are back in action and ready for a big one 💪

This time we face the Lowland Raiders RIHC Team, who came out on top in our first meeting. The boys and girls will be hungry for a rematch and show how far we’ve come since that game 🔥

Expect a fast, physical matchup as we look to settle the score and make a statement on the ice.

What a night at the Dumfries Ice Bowl 🏒🔥

Our Galloway Grizzlies put in a massive performance on home ice against a strong Hamilton Hawks side. It was a back-and-forth battle from start to finish, but the Hawks just edged it 5–4 in a thriller.

Huge credit to the whole squad for the effort, determination and fight shown right until the final buzzer 👏
