Due to this Team Fox won't be attending this weekend due to this happening to me. Hope you all have a great time.
Plop Enduro
As we know motorcycling can be dangerous, with crashes often blamed on motorcyclists who travel too fast or take unnecessary risks. I certainly don't condone that type of behaviour. However, daily I see that the driving standards of Dumfries falling well below that I would expect. That said, things happen, and as some may have seen yesterday, I was injured by a driver failing to observe me in front of them. Intent on looking out at the roundabout and on seeing a gap in the traffic, failed to notice that my student and I hadn't moved and subsequently crashed into the back of my bike. I was tended to at the scene by a town Police unit and Ambulance who I can only thank whole heartedly for their professionalism. Thereafter at the DGRI where I was cared for as if I had a spinal injury. Until this was ruled out, I was under very professional and caring hands. I now need to have a few days to let the pain subside and sort out all the training school needs.
If I can ask people to be patient with me until I can get back to a state of being able to function properly. I will and have contacted individuals for the forthcoming week if needed.
Thank you to those who stopped and offered water as well. I truly appreciate it.
Take care out there and speak soon.
