🌹⚽ THE LACEY ROSES SHIELD ⚽🌹

On Saturday 20th June, Love of Lacey FC and Morley Town AFC will come together at Astley Sports Village for the inaugural Lacey Roses Shield.

Inspired by the historic War of the Roses rivalry between Lancashire and Yorkshire, this fixture represents far more than football.

Both clubs have experienced loss and heartbreak, and this match is an opportunity to come together in remembrance, friendship and support for causes that matter deeply to our football families and local communities.

For 90 minutes there will be competition, pride and passion as two clubs battle for the shield. Beyond that, the day is about unity, respect and recognising the power football has to bring people together when it matters most.
