Match Report👀⚽️
The ladies started the game a bit nervous which saw Kenilworth pressing and attacking down the wing, but then 5 minutes in DC charged forward from the half way line and opened up the score line with a 25 yard shot into the bottom corner.
This helped settle the ladies, and it wasn't long before a mix up at the back but Kenilworth was punished by DC to make it 2-0.
DC then managed to make it 3-0 with a header off a corner.
Just before half time we had our own mix up which led to Wardens scoring a very well taken goal to make it 3-1 going in at half time.
Second half, again we started a little nervous but managed to make it 4-1 with another header off a corner.
The ladies managed to score a couple more to finish the game off with Wardens also getting another goal from a free kick with the score finishing 2-6 to DC
A great start by the ladies, and it was nice to see them taking what we've been working on into a game.

Roxy - From the first whistle, she was solid, won all her battles and organised the defence well. She was making pass crucial passing which help lead the team into attacks💜
Kelly - a proper captains performance, she bossed the midfield, led from the front and opened up the score line, getting DCs first goal of the season. She also got 4 assists and showed us exactly why she is our skipper💜
