More celebrations today, the girls received their league winners awards from the Stourbridge League ⚽

Well our day at Highgate saw the girls reach their 2nd semi final in a row 👏💜

Was it straight forward, definitely not! After nabbing that 3rd spot the girls had to face Allstars who finished 2nd in the group ⚽

They fought hard this match managing to get a 2-2 draw! Which took the girls into a penalty shootout to hopefully make it into that final 🤞

The shootout was nail biting! Both teams scoring, missing and there were some fantastic saves 🫣 but sudden death saw the girls miss out on that final once again.

But so much to be proud of and a brilliant day altogether 💜🖤

Well the final count is done, our raffle and bingo at the presentation raised just over £600 👏 this will be split equally between the U10 girls, Gornal DC U15 Girls and the Gornal DC Ladies 💜
