What a brilliant afternoon we have had today over on Medlock. Bringing together girls from all our age groups along with their parents, we’ve had a great day in the sun having a picnic, playing rounders, football, relay races and a game of football rounders thrown in too.

Thank you all! A reminder that the football is important but at Medlock we’re also building community and making friends along the way!

We are really pleased to announce that the Valkyries are adding a 2nd team to the Medlock Family with our under 12s.

Some of our current 13s will play in the 12s along with some new recruits!

Today we had a friendly against Cheetham Hill Hope FC. Our girls played really well and a special mention goes to player of the game, Eden! Well done girls! Looking forward to seeing what the Under 12s will achieve this season!

Our first EMGFL season is getting closer, and we want every age group to have the strongest possible start.

We’d especially love to hear from more U7s, U11s, U14s and U15s. Whether your team is ready to join or your club wants to learn more, our first club meeting is the perfect place to start.
