Pre season has started and we’re back to winning ways today with a friendly VS MSE Reserves. A 3-1 win on a tough pitch at Hough End, South End had a good spell towards the end which meant MOTM goes to with some game winning saves in the last 15 mins 🙏 UTV🔴⚪️⚫️

This weekends results for Newton Vikings FC🔴⚪️⚫️
Saturdays put in a solid Team performance on the road against Silver Birch FC taking home all 3 points ahead of their KM Cup Final on the 9th May🔴⚪️
Sundays narrowly miss out on another Cup Final with a 2-1 loss to Division 1 team The Alliance FC. Bare 11 on the day so hats off to the lads who shown up and put a shift in. Unlucky in the end not to go to penalties with a half way line lob being their winning goal⚫️⚪️

Saturdays goes to Man Markin Larkin, the clue is in the name. A dog on the pitch, non stop grafting from start to finish, terrorises any man in a 1v1, class player ⚫️⚪️
Sundays goes to John Flynn. A 10/10 performance in the middle of the park, dictating the speed of play, chipping in defensively as well as on the attack, a goal to round it off. Class🔴⚪️
