Motocross4u Race Team, Dromore (2026)

On Saturday the team headed to Tinkerhill Motocross Park for round 2 of the mccni ulster championship round 2 the track was in great shape and the boys couldn't wait to get going.

#6 calum Speedybeattie headed out in practice pushing hard but Transponder problems meant he didn't register a time.
Race 1. Getting a decent start outa the gate at settling into 8th place calum pushed hard with thomas behind to finish in 8th place.
Race 2. Getting a great start in 5th getting his flow until on lap 2 the bike quit with an electrical problem unfortunately that was his race over.
Race 3. Getting a bad start but putting a shift in to finish in 10th place to round out the day on a technical tinkerhill.

#50 tabletop Tommy's WD50 Racing headed out in practice with confidence and pushed hard to bring home 7th place.
Race 1. Thomas got an ok start but with push and fire in his belly and a great battle with team m8 calum to finish 8th place.
Race 2. Getting outa the first corner in 3rd thomas pushed hard to finish in a great 6th place.
Race 3. With a bad start thomas had to work hard and make passes to finish in 8th place.

#112 Josh Tyrrell having timing issues and a few mistake but getting to grips with the track josh was ready for race 1.
Race 1. Josh had a bad start leaving him alot of work to do but with determination finished in 11th place
Race 2. Did some say HOLESHOT push hard at the front and small mistake cost josh a lot of place but again pushing to the flag to get 10th place.
Race 3. With a mid pack start josh pushed to get to 7th place then settled to bring it home in 7th place

On Saturday the team separated with #6 calum Speedybeattie racing at St johns point and #50 Thomas WD50 Racing and #112 Josh Tyrrell racing at carnacally in newry with both track dry and ready to race it was time to put the helmets on.

#6 calum put in a few solid laps but with timing not working properly they gate picked in there championship positions give calum 3rd gate pick
Race 1. Callum got a good start in 3rd and pushing hard to finish a great 4th place
Race 2. Again calum got a great start but a small mistake cost him a few positions but his determination he fought back to 6th at the line
Race 3. Of to a flying start again pushing hard sitting in 4th but a small rider error left him 16th at the finish to finish 6th overall on the day and still top 5 in the championship

#50 Thomas headed of in practice and put in the unbelievable fast time to get 1st place and first gate pick.
Race 1. Wanting the win from he put on the helmet thomas took of with the holeshot and put a charge in to finish in 1st place.
Race 2. Having the feel for the win thomas wanted more this time having to work for it then getting the lead and pulling away to finish in 1st place .
Race 3 was an unreal battle with joel Mckinstry pushing rite to the very last corner until a mistake cost him to slide off and remount to finish 3rd. Thomas got the overall and leads the championship heading to round 2

#112 josh getting to grips with the track in practice then pushing to put in a awesome 3rd fast time in practice.
Race 1. With a smashing start in 2nd josh pushing hard made a small mistake costing him alot of places but with the never give up he pushed to finish a great 6th place.
Race 2. Another great start from josh and pushing hard wanting the win showing great speed to finish 3rd.
Race 3. With the track slippy and wet josh got outa the first corner in 3rd and rode smart staying on and pushing hard to finish 3rd for 3rd overall and 3rd in the championship

Yesterday the team headed off to the one and only Desertmartin Motocross Track where the boys finally got the chance too race it for the first time. With the track mint thanks to Marlene Sykes and her team and the beautiful weather and the atmosphere was first class it time to go racing.
Qualifying.
#6 calum Speedybeattie got away and was putting in fast laps from the get go putting in a 6th fasted time for 6th gate pick.
#50 tabletop tommy put in some solid laps getting used to the track and putting a 14th fastest lap to get 14th gate pick.
Race 1 🏁🏁
#6 Calum getting a great start rounding the first corner in 3rd and putting in some really fast laps running with the front pack showing his True potential to finish a fast 3rd in the junior 65 class
#50 Thomas getting a poor start and having to work hard making passes but showing great push and determination to finish a strong 10th in the junior 65 class.
Race 2🥇🥇
#6 Calum got the HOLESHOT come off the line like a rocketship he rode like a champion and pushed hard to finish an amazing 4th place
#50 Thomas getting away mid pack this time but feeling unwell thomas pushed hard and with his usually determination he finish a strong 10th place again
Race 3 ✊️✊️
#6 Calum got another HOLESHOT he was on fire but unfortunately a small mistake cost him a few place but he pushed hard and work his way back to 6th place
#50 Thomas with his best start of the day rounding the first corner in 5th place pushed hard but a few mistakes he lost a few places to finish a first class 10th place
Overall
#6 Calum finish up on the podium with 3rd overall showing great speed and technique all day and looking fast on the bike.
#50 Thomas finshed up in the top 10 with 10th overall in a deep field of riders.

Last weekend the team headed off to Magilligan MXPark for rounds 1&2 of the irish mx master kids championship with the sun shining and the skies blue it was time to go racing
Saturday round 1

#6 Calum Speedybeattie getting a good qualifying in 7th place give him a good pick for the races and with a great days racing and many great battles calum finished with a 6th 5th 5th on the day.
#50 tabletop tommy WD50 Racing having a great qualifying with his pb on track 2 giving him 12th gate pick for the races and while pushing hard bettered his pb all day to finish the racing with 10th 12th 11th
#112 Josh Tyrrell getting a steady fast qualifying in to give him 10th gate pick for the racing and with alot of pushing and determination finished the day with 14th 10th 7th
With a great days racing and every1 happy with their progression it was onto the sunday round 2

#6 calum had a wee mistakes then working threw traffic in qualifying left him with 8th gate pick for the racing. While show great speed and technique calum pushed hard all day to finish the day with 7th 13th 5th and buzzing with confidence
#50 Thomas getting away with the pack in qualifying helped pull him along to a 12th gate pick for the racing and with some mistakes and some great riding finish the day with 11th 11th 16th but also happy he has shown progression bout days
#112 josh a wee mistake hinder his push in qualifying but with 12th gate pick for the racing . With a few mistake and alot of pushing hard through traffic josh finshed the day with 13th 9th 13th but was showing great speed and talent all weekend.
Big shout out to Josh Quinn for kindly lending thomas his spare bike when he developed mechanical issues

Yesterday saw the 2025 race season kick of at magilligan mx park for round 1 of the mccni ulster club championship with the weather on our sides and the atmosphere feeling good it was time to go racing.

#6 calum Speedybeattie went out in practice and had a steady few laps before putting in a top 6 lap time at the end of practice. Race 1 calum was away with the top 5 until colliding with another downed rider but remounted to finish a great 9th place. Race 2 speedy beattie had an amazing race working hard and finishing a great 5th place. Race 3 calum had a small off costing him alot of places but worked hard and pushed back to finish a strong 8th place round of a gud day with points in the bag

#50 Thomas gibson aka tabletop tommy got off to a great start in practice pushing himself in sand and getting to grips with the track. Race 1 thomas got a great start rounding the first corner mid pack and pushed hard to finish a great 8th place. Race 2 with a mistake at the gate he had to work hard from last to get back to 10th place but gaining confidence making passes. Race 3 and again problems of the Start made hard work for him but managed to work hard to get back to another 10th place with no falls all day and getting confidence in the sand it was a great day all round

#112 Josh Tyrrell heading out in practice with a steady few laps he pushed hard and got a top 5 Sw85 lap time. Race 1 josh pushed hard rite from the start making a few passes to get himself into 6th place sw at the finish line. Race 2 again josh pushed himself gaining more confidence finishing a great 5th place. Race 3 with a mistake to work back from in lap 1 josh made hard passes to finish 8th but showing great riding along the way
