What an achievement for our U16 girls- if anyone is free Saturday afternoon please head down to the Fox’s Biscuit Stadium to support the girls in their final!!

It’s set to be an amazing game!!

Good luck girls from all the U7’s- we’re rooting for you 💛🖤

This Saturday our U16s girls are in the playoff final at Batley Bulldogs stadium, 1:30pm kick off.
After winning the league, they play Leigh who finished second and were the only team to beat them this season so this will be a cracker.
It would be great to get as much support for the girls as possible.

This mornings weather certainly confirmed the end of the summer break- the brollies were up and the big coats were on but it definitely didn’t dampen the spirit of our 7’s!!

They showed up with real determination to put into practice what they’ve been working on in training- defensively showing so much improvement, supporting each other in attack and continuously working together.

Well done to all the team today and to today’s award winners- you all shone like the stars that you are!

Another weekend, another gala for the 7’s.

Yesterday, we travelled to Seacroft Sharks for their family fun day.

The team played in good spirits, all showing a love for rugby league, strong teamwork and togetherness.

Strong runs, amazing footwork and ball handling along with tags, tries and smiles 🏉💛🖤

🦸‍♂️🏉 DRIGHLINGTON U7s OVER THE PENNINES! 🏉🦸‍♀️

What a fantastic day for our Drighlington U7s as they travelled across the Pennines to Rochdale to take part in the Superhero Festival! 🦸‍♂️💥

The kids were absolutely brilliant! 👏🏼 Fantastic teamwork, great runs, brilliant tags and plenty of tries. Every single one of them gave it everything and their effort throughout the festival was amazing. 💪🏼🏉

After the festival, the team got to watch the Rochdale Hornets Women come away victorious against Leigh Miners — before heading over to the Crown Oil Stadium to be presented with their medals and be team mascots ahead of Rochdale Hornets vs Whitehaven. 🏅🦸‍♂️

Unfortunately, the result on the pitch wasn’t the one we were hoping for, but that certainly didn’t take away from what was a brilliant day and a fabulous experience for the kids. ❤️

A huge thank you to all the parents for making the trip across and getting the kids there. Without your support, days like this simply wouldn’t happen. 👏🏼

A massive thank you to our coaches for giving up their time and continuing to support and develop these young players — and a special thank you to Coach Jacko for the invitation to take part and for leading by example on the sidelines, coaching the Rochdale Hornets. 🏉👏🏼

Another brilliant experience, another day full of laughter, rugby and teamwork — and most importantly, more core memories made together as teammates and friends. 🖤💛

What a day our 7’s had yesterday at Swillington ARLFC Gala 2026 💛🖤

We missed a lot of our superstars due to holiday’s but the kids showed great togetherness and played their hearts out for their team!!

As always some amazing runs, tags and tries but more importantly lots of smiles, laughs, friendship and fun - until they got tired and well, we won’t talk about that 🙈

Well done 7’s, we are always so proud of you 💛🖤

Our super 7’s are looking forward to participating in the Swillington ARLFC Gala tomorrow- we had such an amazing time last year, we can’t wait to do it again!!

This morning, our 7’s took to the road to meet with Guiseley and Greenland for our second mini festival together.

Some wonderful rugby on display as always with so many tags, tries and smiles. Amazing footwork coming along, brilliant passing plays and some hard straight runs. The progress can really be seen week after week.

Huge shoutout to our award winners who stood out to the coaches, parents and the opposition!!
