A new block of Mat Pilates will run every Friday at Team Transform 9a Driffield business park Until 26th July. It is pay as you go and all abilities welcome.

All I ask is that you book and pay prior to your desired session and let me know of any requirements you may have.

Sessions are £7 for the hour and all equipment is provided. If you’ve always wanted to try it but worried about coming, please DM me and I can explain and reassure you. ✨🤸🏻‍♀️

There are two essential items (other than my trainers and sports bra) you will never see me running without and that is my cap and my headphones.

🧢 I get a little precious when my hair is blowing in my face or the sun is in my eyes. My cap is a little like my comfort blanket. Running doesn’t come easy to me so when I put my cap on it’s like my super power.
🎧 are a must. I’ve had these nearly 10 years now and they’re still going strong. Sitting comfortably in the ear you don’t know you’re wearing them. Whether it’s music of choice or a podcast, becoming immersed in what I’m listening to really helps to motivate me and keep me putting one foot in front of the other. More recently I have found running with friends does the same. It’s a great way of catching up and being able to hold a conversation tells me whether I’m pushing myself or not.

Aimed for a faster pace on my short run on Tuesday and completely surprised myself. One thing I did actively notice is how I was engaging my core and holding my shoulders up and back which helped with my breathing. I found a rhythm and went with it, ‘blowing through pursed lips’ as I would in Pilates. I didn’t think about it, I just did it and it felt good 😊
