Cannot possibly explain how delighted I am with such positive responses from Clients, Class attendees, and Plan Followers from the last couple of years in Personal Training.

In this day and age it seems everyone and their dog wants to be a PT or is a PT.
Now although I think there are some changes that need to happen in the industry in general, I can honestly say the actual coaching / instructing part is so much fun and it’s no surprise that it’s become so popular; especially following how popular fitness has become on social media now.

Helping others with their progress, helping them learn, building up their confidence, and having a laugh too almost every day is what the job is about and makes it so rewarding.

Huge thank you again to everybody who responded and has given me some feedback!!

Some positive news to start our week 💪

Here is a little something a client of mine sent to me not so long ago!

We have been working together for a couple of months now and, both as a professional and as a human being, I am so proud of the progress she has been making and the mentality she has obtained!

Her diet has been ON POINT and she’s pushed herself beyond her own limitations during our sessions!

We continue to work together every week.

She takes on board all of my advice and I plan her sessions around her active lifestyle (including hiking) and how she is feeling / progressing!

Answer to an FAQ !

It’s that time of year again when everybody starts changing their routines or begins their transformation for the summer!
(Jordan himself is no exception)

Jordan provides an answer for a question that has been asked for many years, is still asked today, and no doubt will still be asked in the future.

Jordan would like to add:
- “If you like training abs, do it! Or if you simply want to train but need to swap the targeted body parts then there is no harm using an “Ab-workout” or “accessory day” routine from time to time while the larger muscles groups rest, recover, grow, and repair.

On a personal level, Jordan simply enjoys the vast majority of types of training. He’s also trained abs at Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Boxing over the years so he is no stranger to it. In other words, he doesn’t mind training them at all.

What is your favourite leg machine to use when training in the gym??
Personally I love a good leg extension for the quad pump and also love a hack squat machine too.

FROM THE VAULT

Quick little reminder that foot placement will effect the focus of your leg exercises and another internet reminder that her elevation will allow you to sink deeper into the squat especially if you have poor ankle mobility.

I would like to point out that using a platform to raise the heels for the squat is more of an added boost rather than genuinely solving the problem by performing various stretches and exercises to increase mobility in the ankle

Footage taken back in my Dover Days where I learned a lot about interacting with people in person, a lot about different personalities in the gym environment, made some friends, made some memories, and was in decent shape in the lead up to my holiday to Madrid

Jordan has a challenge for you all to include in your training sessions this week should you fancy something to elevate your heart rate and have you feeling that burn 🔥

I recommend that you use between 60-70% of your 3 Rep Max for the most enjoyment and maximum gains 💪
