TEAM NEWS! 🚨

Here is the D&D Senior team for this Sunday’s fixture! 🏏

With our league games now all done, we’ve got 2 remaining weekends with friendly fixtures to round off the season.

The Seniors are heading to Meigle Cricket Club to face their 2s tomorrow. Weather looks like it could spoil the day, but we’ve got our fingers crossed we’ll get a game on 🤞

Great to see a mix of youth and experience in the side! 🙌

1pm start @ Victory Park in Meigle. Players to meet at the ground for 12:15pm.

Anyone needing a lift, speak to Louis or Matt.

SENIORS WIN THEIR LAST LEAGUE GAME 🙌

A great game for the Senior 1st XI yesterday to round off their 2026 league campaign! 🏏

Louis once again won the toss and elected to bat on a sunny afternoon at The Grazings. D&D started off well with the bat with the skipper getting his maiden ton and Chris doing what he does best, scoring runs freely. It was another record partnership between the two, sharing 196 runs, with the team ending on 237/2.

Then with the ball, the lads didn’t panic when the Clackmannan County Cricket Club openers flew out the gates. Brilliant bowling from Alex “The Scorer” Russell and James Barker on debut, before Dan and George completely nullified their scoring with consistent bowling! 👏

Fielding was great, again led by Paul Geddes and young Gregory deserves a special mention for his outstanding contributions in the field, including a crucial catch at deep square leg. The run out at the end really topped it off from James on debut, with a direct hit to end the game!

A brilliant end to the league season for the team. No cricket today, with rain spoiling the day, but still a couple more weeks of the outdoor season to look forward to! 👍

TEAM NEWS! 🚨

Here are the D&D Senior teams for this weekend’s fixtures! 🏏

It’s two Senior fixtures this weekend, with a final league match for the 1st XI and a special trip to Edinburgh on Sunday! 🙌

The Senior 1st XI are finishing their league campaign at home tomorrow, with 8th placed Clackmannan County Cricket Club 2s the visitors! There is still a chance for D&D to go 4th in the table with a win!

After a superb 9-wicket win last Saturday, a similar side is named, with just two changes. It’s junior for junior, as Gregory Miller replaces William Barnes. There is also a debutant, as James Barker replaces Tom Morris.

12pm start @ The Grazings. Players to meet at the ground for 11am. It would be great to see a good support for the final league game of 2026!

On Sunday afternoon, it’s a special day as we head to Grange Cricket Club in Stockbridge, Edinburgh! Widely regarded as the unofficial home of Scottish Cricket, it’s an honour to play at such an important ground! 🏏

Chris takes the captaincy for this one, with a strong squad named.

Players to meet at The Grange for 12pm for a 1pm start. Speak to Chris, Louis or Matt if you need a lift.

Just a reminder to ask people to refrain from playing golf at the grazings. There was further damage caused last night. We would also appreciate that anyone using the grounds for walks/dog walking to avoid causing any damage.
