We are looking for good riders to join our ambitious small team following our move to Lambourn in early July. The role will involve riding out, all yard duties and going racing. In return, we can offer a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance and pension. Our working schedule allows for a good work/life balance, with afternoons off every other week. Accommodation can be discussed as part of the package.

Experience with racehorses is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with significant experience in other equestrian disciplines. We would also be interested in hearing from anyone with aspirations to take out an amateur or conditional licence and would provide full support to the right person to achieve this.

🐎 We are delighted to announce that Toby Lawes Racing will be relocating to Lambourn from July 2026 🐎

After six and a half memorable years at Henfold in Surrey, we look back with immense pride on what we have achieved. Since starting out we have trained 63 winners and enjoyed some wonderful days with horses such St Pancras (winner of the Listed Scottish Triumph Hurdle), Klimt Madrik (Grade 1 Challow Hurdle runner up) and Surrey Quest (Mandarin Chase winner & Scottish Grand National runner up).

We would like to publicly thank Andrew and Sarah Wates and their family for providing us with such an incredible opportunity to start training, and we are delighted that we will continue training for Andrew following the move.

Thank you also to all of our owners, staff and wider support teams who have supported us at Henfold. This is a hugely exciting next step for us, returning to a place we know well and establishing the next phase of Toby Lawes Racing from Britain's premier National Hunt training centre. We will be relocating in early July when the horses come back into work, and will be based at Neardown Stables for the 26/27 season.
