We are delighted to announce that the Mayor and Mayoress of Dorchester, Les Fry and his wife Julie, will be joining us for the Casterbridge Canter to start the race and present prizes.

Many of you will know the Mayor and Mayoress from The Great Field parkrun as well as for the huge amount of community and charity work they carry out.

This year, as Mayor of Dorchester, Les will be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, People First Dorset and Dorchester Youth & Community Centre. We look forward to supporting these fundraising events over the next year.
