Our National Award Winner: Chris King 🏆

Chris attended the Grassroots Football Awards 2026 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff where he was awarded with ‘New Volunteer of the Year’ alongside 11 other award winners on the day.

A huge congratulations to Chris on his continued hard work around Powerchair Football in Dorset. 👏

RETURN OF THE BINGO NIGHT | 🎱

We are running back the Bingo Night in just under three months time at the Blues Club on Portland.

There will be food on the night all at £2 alongside a £2 Lucky Bag with all sorts of prizes.

It will be £10 for a full booklet on the night alongside a Free Flyer per booklet.

We recommend contacting Sara to guarantee your place on the night and we hope to see many of you there.

Jurassic Chargers are offering opportunities for new players who want to get involved with powerchair football alongside any current players who are interested in playing for us.

Earlier this week, both Chris King and Jamie King attended the DCFA Grassroots Football Awards with Chris winning New Volunteer of the Year Award alongside Jamie’s Disability Pathway Coach of the Year Award. 🥇

As a club, we congratulate them both on all the hard work put in place over the last year to set up the Jurassic Chargers. 👏

So sad to be writing this post announcing the sudden and unexpected passing of our youngest player, Jensen Pittman, who passed away yesterday with his amazing family by his side.
It hurts us deeply. We know and unfortunately have to accept that this is part of the world we live in as part of the Powerchair Football community.

Jensen Pittman scored his first goal on his debut match in Taunton he never gave up, and we were so delighted to get him playing Powerchair Football, something he truly loved.

Jensen was a privilege to train and has been part of our amazing club since the start. He took everything on board and would implement it within his game. He was an amazing player.

But more than just on-pitch success, it was Jensen's off-pitch contributions and personality that made him the star he was.
Jensen will be truly missed, and our heartfelt condolences are with his family and friends.

We now have to continue to play the greatest Powerchair Football we can in Jensen’s memory. ⚽⚽️
