Dorchester Sports FC was formed in 2007, After winning back to back titles and the Minor Cup final in their first two seasons Sports were up and running. 4 seasons followed in division 2 before finishing runners up to Balti Sports on goal difference meaning promotion to division 1. After finishing 3rd in their first season it

meant promotion again to the senior league, a disappointing season followed finishing 3rd from bottom but Sports regrouped last season and formed a reserve side in division one. Both teams enjoyed good seasons meaning promotion for both sides. The first team will now play at the Avenue Stadium in the Dorset Premier League and the reserves will play at Weymouth College in the Dorset Senior League.

We are delighted to announce the return of Dylan Ellis for the 2026/27 season!

After scoring 23 goals in 85 appearances for the club, Dylan will be aiming to add to both tallies this season as he closes in on joining the Sports '100 Club'.

We’re delighted to confirm that Dan Sheehy has committed to the Sports for another season!

A key figure in the squad, Dan has already racked up 108 appearances and 42 goals for the club, and despite attracting interest from higher-level clubs, he’s chosen to continue his journey here… a huge boost for the season ahead!

We are pleased to confirm that Elliott Browne has put pen to paper and will be returning for the 2026/27 season!

Browner has been a huge part of the team over the last few seasons, including playing every game last season apart from the cup final, which he sadly missed through injury.

Despite interest from higher-level clubs, Elliott has committed his future to us, and we're thrilled to have him back for another season as he looks to add to his already impressive tally of 121 appearances and 5 goals.

Great to have you back, Elliott.
