This Sunday we travel to South Elmsall to face our good friends Wakefield Wideboys Socials.🤝

This is a warm up game before the return fixture on Saturday 19th September for our own Charity Match at Rossington Miners Welfare.

Can the Doughnuts make it with 3 consecutive wins this Sunday.

📣 September Fixtures!!

A full fixtures schedule for September.

Starting off with a trip to South Elmsall to face our good friends Wakefield Wideboys.

We then host Nottinghamshire MvF FC on home turf.

Then the big one! Our Charity Event. We are thankful to Wakefield Wideboys to agree to play us in our own Charity Match on Saturday 19th September at Rossington Welfare for 2 great causes (Doncaster Foster Carers Association and Target Ovarian Cancer).

Last but not least we host new opponents RvB Hillsborough Club FC Sun Adults Team back at the All Saints on 27th September.

A great bank holiday home win for the Doughnuts. 🍩

An unfortunate Lincoln own goal started the scoring before they equalised.

The game stood at 2-2 for a while until Doughnuts found the net again.

We then ran away with the scoring being 5-2 up until Lincoln scored their 3rd in last 5 mins.

Hello, this is a message from Jake, Micky and Steve at Doncaster Doughnuts FC.

With our success from several previous charity games, we are now hosting our own charity day on Saturday 19th September for two great charities which are close to our hearts.

Doncaster Foster Carers Association.
Steve is a foster carer himself and has seen both the ups and downs surrounding kids in care and the people who care for them. DFCA allow children in care opportunities that they may not get otherwise. We are directly working with this charity and having some of their members supporting with preparation and the day.

Target Ovarian Cancer.
We were upset to hear from one of our players, James, about his partner's story and how she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Sabrina's story will be available to read. James politely asked if we could do something to help say thank you for the work and support Target Ovarian Cancer. So we are delighted that Target Ovarian Cancer has provided us plenty of support, information and tools to help us raise funds and awareness.

Player sponsors (£20) and mascots (£5 per mascot) opportunities are available. Half time activities will be carried out for the mascots and kids.

We are asking for people to bring plenty of cash for the stalls and bar as well as making a small donation, it will all add up to the great causes.

We will also have a bake sale set up, raffle tickets up for sale, football cards floating about as well as potentially more activities and games to confirm. Weather depending, there maybe a mobile bar closer to the pitch.

The raffle will also be drawn during the evening. Raffle tickets are £1 per strip and can be bought by contacting our socials or one of us three directly.

We would like to give big thanks so far to Rossington Welfare for providing us with the venue and Rossington football club for providing the pitch. Also, H. Askey Transport Ltd for covering the DJ costs. And of course Target Ovarian Cancer and Doncaster Foster Carers Association for everything they do.

Well…What an afternoon.

18 goal thriller is not what was expected on a Sunday.

We started the game well with an early 4-0 lead but then let it slip to 4-5 before half time.

Goals was then backwards and forwards between both sides. Altogether a great afternoon of football.

Mark Waterhouse was voted Man of the Match by the Harrowby lads.

Shout outs to Lesane in bagging 5 goals and an incredible bicycle kick into top bins from James’ corner, incredible to see. 👏🔥 and to Tom for putting a great shift and several assists.

🍩DONCASTER DOUGHNUTS CHARITY FOOTBALL MATCH🍩

On Saturday 19th September our squad will be taking to the grass pitch behind Rossington Welfare to face our good friends Wakefield Wideboys FC.🤝

Come down and support us and two good causes - Doncaster Fostering and Target Ovarian Cancer.

We will have stalls and activities around the pitch to suit everyone…even a mobile bar for the adults set up by Rossington Welfare (weather depending). ☀️🤞🍺

Note that Rossington FC Development team have a league game on the main pitch next to where we will be playing that kicks off at 3pm. So if you want an afternoon of Rossington based football, Rossington Welfare is the place to be.⚽️
