Club Update ⚽️

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on here lately… we’ve been busy! 👏

The girls were back in action tonight in a friendly against Dunscroft Whites and came away with a brilliant win 💙

With the warm weather and no subs available, the girls had no chance for a rest but worked their socks off from start to finish 👏🔥

Some fantastic passing was on show throughout the game with some really good team football played ⚽️

A tough test for our U9 girls today in a friendly against Rotherham Town. The girls came up against a very physical side and found it difficult to get into their usual rhythm, but they kept battling throughout 💪⚽

A big shoutout to Penelope who had a fantastic game in defence, showing great determination and composure under pressure 👏

Player of the Match goes to Esme for some brilliant saves, keeping us in the game with a strong performance between the sticks 🧤⭐

Not our best day, but these are the kind of games we learn the most from. We’ll take it on board, work hard in training, and come back stronger 💖⚽

Another great session for the girls tonight 💪⚽️

Training had more of a focus on shooting and 1v1 situations, and there was some brilliant effort all round. We saw some really good strikes on goal, matched by some excellent saves 👏 and some strong challenges going in too!

All the girls trained really well, which made picking Trainer of the Week a tough one… so we settled it with a shooting knockout challenge! 🎯

A big well done to Robyn, who came out on top with some fantastic finishing 👏🔥

Keep up the hard work girls!

💥Dunscroft Vs Edenthorpe Match Report💥

What a performance from the girls today! 💪⚽️

The passing on show was absolutely unbelievable — easily the best we’ve seen. The girls played with real confidence and, most importantly, completely unselfishly, always looking for that extra pass to help a teammate. It was a joy to watch 👏

In tough conditions with the heat, the effort from every single player was outstanding. They worked tirelessly from start to finish and fully deserved the result.

After finishing third in finals day last week, If we had played like this last week,we’ve no doubt we would have been right up there in the final — but this just shows how much the girls are learning and improving every week! 📈

A big shoutout to our goalkeepers Esme and Robyn for securing a brilliant clean sheet 🧤🙌

Penelope has shown fantastic hard work in training, especially with her defending. Her determination and effort haven’t gone unnoticed — she’s been putting in some brilliant tackles and showing great commitment for the team 💪

⚽️ Finals Day for Our Girls ⚽️

A great day of football yesterday as the girls finished an impressive 3rd place 👏💪

We started a little slow, which has been something we’ve battled with this season, and with games being 15 minutes straight through, it took us a while to really get going. But once we did, the effort, determination, and teamwork on display were fantastic 💖

This was the girls’ first experience of a tournament-style format, and it’s all part of their journey. They’ll take so much from today, learning, growing, and getting even better each time they step on the pitch 🌱⚽️

⚽️ Match Report – Dunscroft U9 Girls vs Dunscroft U9 whites ⚽️

A fantastic performance from the girls this weekend, and one that the coaches were incredibly proud of! 🙌

Irrespective of the goals scored, the standout aspect of the game was the passing on display. The girls are growing in confidence every week, and it really showed with how well they moved the ball and played as a team 💪⚽️

A special mention goes to Caitlin for an absolute screamer 🚀 — a long-range effort from near the halfway line that looped beautifully over the keeper! An outstanding performance all round earned her the Parents’ Player of the Match 👏

The Coaches’ Player of the Match was awarded to the entire team for their brilliant teamwork and unselfish style of play. It was great to see everyone supporting each other and making the extra pass ❤️

This performance puts us in a really strong position heading into Finals Day — keep it going girls! 🔥

Great session from the girls this week! 💪⚽️

We focused mainly on small-sided games, really working on our passing and keeping possession — and the improvement is clear to see! The teamwork and effort from everyone was brilliant 👏

A big shoutout to Robyn, our Trainer of the Week 🌟 for her fantastic passing and overall teamwork — fully deserved!

All eyes now turn to our first game in a few weeks as we take on Dunscroft Whites this Saturday. The girls are excited and ready to put all their hard work into action 🔥⚽️
