After spending the summer concentrating on training techniques, our boys were absolutely fantastic in their first friendly back! 💪⚽️

But today wasn’t just about the goals — it was about teamwork, passing, defending, supporting each other and putting all those hours of training into practice. And wow, did they do just that! 👏🔥
The hard work over the last few weeks has definitely paid off, and there were some absolutely outstanding moments from every player.
⭐️ JACOB ⭐️
Jacob has absolutely excelled himself through training, learning that sometimes the best way to create a goal is to make the pass. Today, he showed that perfectly, making some fantastic passes to teammates when he recognised they were closer to goal and had a better chance of scoring. 👏
But Jacob also spotted plenty of opportunities for himself, and his accuracy was absolutely spot on! He had his game face on today, enjoyed plenty of possession and created some fantastic assists alongside his goals.

⭐️ MARKUS ⭐️
Markus showed fantastic teamwork and dedication today. He stayed focused on the game, studying the opposition and making sure he was marking his player while also positioning himself close to goal, ready for that important pass.
His confidence on the pitch has increased massively, and it really showed today! Some great movement, determination and finishing.

⭐️ CALEB ⭐️
Caleb showed us today that he isn’t just a brilliant defender — he’s a fantastic all-round player too! 👏
He was in the right place at the right time, supported the goalkeeper brilliantly and worked tirelessly around the pitch. When Caleb spotted an opportunity to score, he took it!
The best part? He didn’t even realise he’d scored until everyone started cheering! 😂🙌 His face absolutely lit up and he was ecstatic!

Wow, Billy had the fire in his belly today! 🔥
Once again, Billy showed incredible determination to support his teammates in every way possible — assisting, passing, tackling and putting in some brilliant defensive work.
His confidence with the ball and in his tackling really stood out today, and he showed exactly what it means to be an all-round, dedicated team player.

Jaxson, when you’ve got that ball and you’re focused, no one is getting it from you! 😆⚽️
He ran across that pitch with a keen eye, constantly looking for his teammates and searching for the right opportunity to make a pass.
Some brilliant defending, great determination and fantastic teamwork from you today, matey!

Some absolutely cracking saves from Hudson once again! 🧤🔥
His concentration, skill and techniques have improved massively, and his ability to support his teammates from the back was fantastic to see.

For his very first game, Sam walked onto that pitch with the confidence of someone who had been playing for years! His determination to get involved, support his teammates and give everything was fantastic.
He even pulled off some brilliant defending!
We hope today has given you an even bigger confidence boost to continue your football journey, Sam. You should be really proud of yourself!

The goals were fantastic, but what really stood out today was the teamwork.
From passing and assisting to defending, marking, supporting the goalkeeper and encouraging one another, the boys showed just how much they’ve taken on board from training.
The summer work, dedication and effort are clearly paying off, and today was a brilliant way to start back football💪🔥
