Active Fusion Childrens charity. Fighting for the power of sport and physical activity in young lives.

We are a charitable organisation working to increase physical activity of young people aged four to 24. We do this primarily through improving the teaching and learning of Physical Education in schools. We work to raise the aspirations of young people through physical activity by providing apprenticeship and leadership opportunities. We also strive to create connections in the community by providing businesses with the opportunity to give something back by working with us.

What a day, and what a result! ⛳️

We are delighted to share that our annual Charity Golf Day at Hickleton Golf Club raised £11,715, making it our biggest and most successful golf day to date.

With rain falling from start to finish, the weather certainly wasn't on our side, but it did not stop what proved to be a fantastic day. The support, generosity and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved was incredible and helped make the event one to remember.

A huge thank you to our headline sponsor Aalberts IPS for their valued support, along with all of our hole sponsors, participating teams and businesses who helped make the day such a success.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the businesses who generously donated raffle prizes. Your support played a huge part in helping us raise this fantastic amount.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered and supported the event in any way. Achieving a fundraising total of almost £12,000 is something we are incredibly proud of, and it would not have been possible without the amazing support of our local business community.

Thank you all for helping us make a real difference.

I think our team of volunteers have just about recovered from a fantastic day out in force at DonnyFest this Saturday!

We were incredibly honoured to be named the charity partner this year, and VIP had the time of his life.

We met so many incredible people and had the opportunity to share all about Active Fusion. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, learn more about what we do, and support our mission.

It's National Volunteers' Week ❤️

As part of National Volunteers' Week, we would like to recognise and thank our incredible Active Fusion volunteers for the contribution they make to our work and the communities we serve.

This year, our volunteers have contributed over 1,000 hours, supporting delivery across school curriculum programmes, after-school provision, community projects, and Fusion Camps. Their dedication helps us create positive opportunities for young people while strengthening communities across South Yorkshire.

Volunteering with Active Fusion provides opportunities to gain valuable experience, develop new skills, build confidence and leadership capabilities, and create meaningful connections, all while making a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

Thank you to every volunteer who gives their time, energy, and passion to help us inspire healthier, happier, and more active futures.

❤️ EVERY MOVE MATTERS ❤️

This June and July, we’re asking our community to come together, get moving, and help change young lives through the power of physical activity.

From 15th June to 15th July, Active Fusion’s Every Move Matters campaign will encourage people of all ages to move more while raising vital funds to support children and young people across our communities.

Why does this matter?
We know that being active is about so much more than sport. Physical activity can improve young people’s physical health, mental wellbeing, confidence, resilience, social connections, and readiness to learn. It helps children feel happier, healthier, and more connected.

But for many young people, especially those living in disadvantaged communities, opportunities to access positive physical activity experiences are limited. Barriers such as cost, confidence, accessibility, and lack of opportunities mean too many children are missing out on the benefits movement can bring.

That’s why we are launching Every Move Matters.

The campaign is about inclusion, participation, and finding movement that works for everyone. Whether that’s walking, running, dancing, cycling, fundraising at work, hosting a bake sale, taking on a challenge with friends, or simply making time to move more, every action makes a difference.

Most importantly, every pound raised will help Active Fusion continue delivering programmes that improve young people’s health, wellbeing, confidence, and social connections across our communities.

And thanks to match funding, every donation raised between 15th June and 15th July will be DOUBLED, meaning your impact will go twice as far.

Together, we can help more young people move more, feel better, and thrive.

Because every move really does matter ❤️

The Throwback Games are all about friendly competition, teamwork, and having a laugh while reconnecting with colleagues, clients, friends, and family in a relaxed social atmosphere.
