Woodbridge Town Whites 1 v 7 Diss Town Tigers!
After a slow start we took the deserved lead in the 23rd minute when a flicked on header from Isaac found Blake, a neat 1-2 saw Isaac through on goal who slotted home the opener.
With the pressure piled on, Woodbridge were unable to keep us at bay and in the 29th minute a superb through ball from Noah at right back split their defence and found Adison in space on the left who surged through, beat the keeper and made in 0-2.
Maintaining the momentum, Isaac finished off a lovely team move from back to front, scoring his second of the game on the stroke of half time.
We started the second half as we finished the first and with only 2 minutes gone we won a free kick just outside the box and a superb crisp free kick from Isaac completed his hat-trick putting us 0-4 in the lead.
With a comfortable lead we had a rare lapse in concentration which allowed Woodbridge to break through and slot home to make it 1-4.
Shortly after, in the 47th minute Isaac turned from scorer to provider with a ball through to Blake who used his pace to race past their defence to score a well deserved goal.
With the game firmly in our hands Noah won the ball back in midfield and picked out Isaac with a great long ball who then found Blake free to notch his second.
With time running out Jack Miller rose to win a header in the opposition area where Jack Watts was waiting to pounce, smashing the ball home from 6 yards giving the keeper no chance making it 1-7!
A superb team performance from all saw us maintain our 100% start to the season.
