A few photo's from yesterday's 45th Wenvoe Welsh Open Triples.
As always we are indebted to the support we get from our wonderful hosts, Dinas Powys Athletic Club, and our friends from Dinas Powys RFC & Dinas Powys Cricket Club.

Thanks to everyone who came along, braved the sunburn and showers and made it a day to remember.

With our Bank Holiday Community Fete fast approaching, we're looking for local businesses to get involved and support the village's biggest events of the year.

One of the best things about our fete is seeing local businesses alongside local families, clubs and volunteers. If your business believes in giving something back to the community, we'd love to hear from you.

Not a bad start to the 2026 WPA League season for the Wenvoe Dragons, with a 2-2 draw against our friends at Monkstone PC, the Minotaurs.
The Minotaurs edged us by +14 on points, so hopefully that won’t cost us later on in the season!

That’s a wrap on our 2025 WPA League season.
Not the best for us - struggled pulling together a regular team, including one match with only 2 players available, but the club is grateful to every player who turned out to represent the club, and who did their best.
A few narrow defeats, and some very close games, and who knows what might’ve happened
Well done to all the Division One teams, and congratulations to the winners.

Tricky things to photograph, shiny plaques, but you can see the detail from trophies for the Wenvoe Welsh Open Triples:
The David “Dai” Cannan Memorial Cup
The Gloria “Glo” Davies Memorial Plate

These will be engraved with the winners’ names and I’ll repost when done.
