I did it! I made a cardigan, just like mum always said I could! ‘If you can follow a pattern you can make clothes’ that’s what she always said! And she was right! When I saw this beautiful strawberry pattern from ameliajoycrochet 🌈 I knew it was the one for me! Wool came from mums stash and after searching for just the right buttons everywhere I found these beauties right where mum left them for me in her sewing box! They couldn’t be more perfect. My first piece, created by me, handmade with love and with a little bit of mum in every single stitch!

Five years ago today I finished my very first piece of embroidery… what a five years it’s been. Moving forward after losing mum, my teacher, my best friend and my biggest support is hard, not going to lie! But moving forward is what she would have wanted and so it’s what we shall do! Onwards and upwards for little Leo bear, can’t wait to see what the next five years will bring for my little business! Happy Birthday to Little Leo Bear!!

Woohoo! We’ve had the ok! The fair is going ahead! It was dicey yesterday with the projected winds but we’ve had the ok from the organisers that we can go ahead tomorrow! Super excited for one of my fave fairs of the year! Catch me tomorrow at the Caerphilly Cheese festival with Caerphilly market place outside Morrisons!
