Throw back to one of the best feelings ever running a half marathon 5 months 2 weeks after giving birth and 3 months after 2 big operations on my stomach. This wasnโ€™t about proving anything to anyone except myself - being a mum for me literally took a lot from me so not being able to be as active for a while was so hard and having this goal as a focus got me through it. I loved every minute of it with my 90s playlist and little family to support me. Iโ€™ve enjoyed a well earnt rest after that crazy training schedule - now back to it for the next race ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช

Throw back to one of the best feelings ever running a half marathon 5 months 2 weeks after giving birth and 3 months after 2 big operations on my stomach. So honoured to have been a part of this fabulous womanโ€™s transformation into a strong and healthy mummy after her two babies ๐Ÿ’ช She didnโ€™t miss a session, turned up even when it was a 6am start, worked out 3x a week, committed to a healthy diet and even trained whilst I moved away to Hull via Skype - now thatโ€™s commitment and it paid off ๐Ÿ™

Absolutely loved today and feeling pumped off all those endorphins. Itโ€™s crazy what a little sunshine can do. I run best when I have a long to-do list, turns out tonightโ€™s to-do list took me 6 miles to compartmentalise so I best get cracking ๐Ÿ˜€

Whilst my clients are enjoying their holidays I finally have chance to ride 10km on my new bike ๐Ÿšด If you are training for a long distance run remember to mix up your training schedule with HIIT, bike, rower, swimming, free weights and plyometric training and pilates #. Your body needs to be stronger all over in order to get you over that finish line ๐Ÿ

Hats off to those that still look flawless after the gym or smashing out a fitness session - I can only rock the beetroot foundation look ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต

5 weeks out until my half marathon - training for a distance like this or full marathon is slow and steady and all about building mileage in those legs ๐Ÿฆต๐Ÿฆต

If Iโ€™m telling my clients to get out and train on a weekend you can guarantee Iโ€™m getting out there and practising what I preach- even if I do need to grab onto a wall or railing when Iโ€™ve finished ๐Ÿ˜‚ That heat was a killer but itโ€™s done and a great finish to a productive week. 6 weeks out until this Half Marathon and a nice steady 7km right before Sunday dinner ๐Ÿ‘Œ
