Yesterday, I spoke about the power of your thoughts and bringing awareness to them with some helpful practices.

Today, I want to share how to identify negative thoughts and flip them into positive vibes.

Here’s how you can start:

When you catch a negative thought, don’t ignore it. Identify it. Maybe it’s a self-doubt like, “I’m not good enough,” or a worry like, “I’ll never get this right.” Acknowledging these thoughts is crucial because it’s the first step in changing them. Here’s how you can effectively identify negative thoughts:

Emotion Triggers: Pay attention to your emotions. Negative feelings like anxiety, sadness, or frustration often stem from negative thoughts.

Physical Sensations: Notice physical reactions such as tension, a knot in your stomach, or a headache. These can be indicators of underlying negative thoughts.

Question Patterns: Ask yourself, “What was I just thinking?” whenever you feel a shift in your mood. This helps bring subconscious thoughts to the surface.

Once you’ve identified a negative thought, ask yourself, “How can I see this differently?”

Do you need to hear this today?

Many of the symptoms associated with Menopause could become an issue at some point in your 40's which may be earlier than you would expect - This time is called Perimenopause.

Progesterone is typically the first hormone to decline which can be from early 40s.

Progesterone declining can often lead to emotional symptoms, such as anxiety, loss of confidence or low mood. If you are prone to PMS you may find yourself more tearful with unpredictable moods. These are often the first indications that the menopause is on its way even though your menstraul cycle may still appear normal.

Diet and lifestyle can play a significant role in supporting a healthy menopause, the earlier you start the more effective this can be.

2. Avoid caffeine and alcohol before bed
3. Develop a relaxing bedtime routine

Don't sleep on this...

If you had a superpower what would it be!?

When I asked myself this question, I couldn't decide. I thought, well, there are so many superpowers I would like to be able to help people... But after reeling off a list:
Strength
Healing Pain and Trauma
Flight
Warmth
Passion
Listening
Etc etc I realised, LOVE has the answer to all my chosen superpowers..

Particularly self love, I don't believe I have ever come across a human that totally has self love and most even cringe of the thought of the words. Myself included.

If we could learn more self love, all the other superpowers fall into place, we would have more compassion for ourselves and others, we would trust we have the strength to walk through the rain in a storm. We would give otherselves time to heal through life's pains and traumas we have experienced. We would BE warmth.

Menopause can be a particularly difficult time with self love, reach out to your support network, they love you! Talk to people you are comfortable talking too. You are not alone 💕 your experiences can also help others, double whammy!

There is a prevailing belief out there that menopause means you are officially old.

Society will tell us that this is the end of our femininity, sexuality, beauty, and vitality.

But none of this is true.

My skin feels and looks AMAZING right now, it's gone from being dry and flaky, even with a great skincare routine, to being hydrated, plumper and I believe firmer.
