What does a “realistic” fitness routine actually look like? 💛

Not 6 workouts a week.
Not hours in the gym.
Not being perfect every day.

For most women I speak to, it looks more like:
✨ 3 workouts a week
✨ Some weeks at home, some in the gym
✨ Short sessions that fit around work, kids, and life
✨ Doing what you can, not all or nothing

And honestly… that’s enough to get results.

The biggest shift isn’t doing more — it’s doing something you can actually stick to.

That’s when confidence builds, strength improves, and things start to change.

“It just feels hard right now.”

And honestly… I get it.
Life is busy. Energy isn’t always high. And starting can feel overwhelming.

But… truth time 🤍

Those things don’t disappear before you begin…
you learn to move with them.

Progress doesn’t come from waiting for the perfect moment.
It comes from showing up in the imperfect ones.

The women who see results aren’t the ones who have it easy…

Can I share something that might help if you’re feeling a bit stuck with your fitness? 💛

One of the biggest mistakes I see (and I’ve done it myself) is thinking you need to be “all in” to get results…

Perfect plan.
Perfect motivation.
Hours in the gym.

But actually, what gets the best results is just keeping things simple and consistent.

If you’re trying to get back into a routine right now, here are 3 things that genuinely help:

1️⃣ Lower the bar
Don’t aim for 5–6 workouts a week. Start with 2–3 you can actually stick to.

2️⃣ Make it fit your life
Home workout? Gym? Short sessions? It all counts. The “best” plan is the one you’ll do.

3️⃣ Focus on how you feel, not just how you look
More energy, better mood, feeling stronger — that’s what keeps you going long-term.

You don’t need to start over. You just need to start simple.

I know what you’re thinking…
Will it work this time?
Or am I just going to end up back where I started…again?

Because that’s exactly where I was.

Starting every Monday.
Telling myself “this time I’ll stick to it.”
Cutting everything out. Being “perfect”…
Then one bad day turning into a bad week…
And suddenly I’m right back at square one, feeling like I’ve failed. Again.

It’s exhausting.
And honestly? It messes with your head more than your body.

I did the fad diets. The quick fixes. The extremes.
And every time, I ended up in the same cycle…
Until I got a coach.

And no — it wasn’t some magical, overnight transformation.
There were hard days. Days I wanted to quit. Days I doubted myself.
But for the first time, I wasn’t doing it alone…
And I finally learned how to do it in a way that actually lasted.

That’s why I care so much about what I do now.

Because I know how it feels to not trust yourself anymore.

I was tired.

Tired of avoiding mirrors.
Tired of overthinking every outfit.
Tired of picking myself apart in every reflection.

Nothing felt right.
Not my clothes.
Not my body.
Not even me.

There were days I’d stand there…
change 2, 3, 4 times…
and still feel uncomfortable walking out the door.

That feeling doesn’t just go away either.
It follows you all day.
Sits in the back of your mind.

I didn’t recognise myself anymore.

And deep down, I knew—
no one was coming to fix it for me.

No quick fix.
No sudden motivation.
Just a moment where I thought…

“I can’t keep feeling like this.”

So I started.

Not confident.
Not consistent.
Not ready.

Just… done with staying the same.

Some days I showed up.
Some days I didn’t want to.
But I stopped quitting on myself.

And slowly—before anything physical—
my mindset started to shift.

I stopped punishing my body.
Stopped chasing perfect.

And started building something real…
confidence.

This isn’t just a transformation.
This is me taking my power back.

And this—right here—
is exactly why I became a PT.

Because I know how heavy that place feels.
And I know how to help you get out of it.
