What. A. Game. 🤯🔥

Ockbrook came flying out of the blocks and took an early lead through J Dexter ⚽, before H Rush doubled our advantage shortly after! 💪🔥

Derby Singh managed to pull one back before half-time, sending us into the break with a 2-1 lead.

The second half was a completely different story 😮 Derby Singh came out all guns blazing 🔥 and scored three goals, leaving Ockbrook trailing heading into the final stages of the game.

But this team does not give up! 💛🖤

In the 86th minute, T Hopper had other ideas, tapping home at the far post to bring us right back into the game! ⚽🔥

Then came the moment of the match… 😱

With the clock approaching the 89th minute, captain J Williamson was not letting his team fall! The skipper leapt through the air like a salmon 🐟😂 and somehow produced an unbelievable header from distance, looping the ball over the keeper and under the bar! 🚀⚽🔥

4-4!!! WHAT A FINISH! 🤯🔥

After a game full of drama, fight, passion and plenty of controversial decisions 👀😅, the match went straight to penalties.

And after a nerve-wracking shootout… OCKBROOK FC WON 7-6 ON PENALTIES! 🏆💛🖤

What a performance. What a fight. What a team. 💪🔥

Ockbrook FC Athletic 3 – 2 Field Lane FC First

What a game. What a comeback. What a win. 🔥

Ockbrook Athletic produced a brilliant second-half response, coming from 2–0 down to win 3–2 against Field Lane FC First in a hugely entertaining pre-season encounter.

Field Lane started strongly and took a two-goal lead, putting the Brooks under real pressure. But the lads didn’t let their heads drop and showed exactly the kind of character, fight and togetherness we want to see going into the new season. 💪🏾

A. Steadman got us back into the game before M. Haddon levelled things up with a good free kick to make it 2–2.

With the momentum firmly behind the Brooks, Dos completed the turnaround to make it 3–2 with an insane free kick going top corner to seal a fantastic comeback victory. 🔥⚽️
