Afternoon, I'm after some help, please.

I am currently in my 2nd year at Colchester Institute studying L2 Mechanics and have been told today I need to complete 30 hours of work experience.

Would any local mechanics (Clacton and surrounding areas) be willing to take on a 17-year-old to complete this, please?

After a busy week at Brands Hatch 🏎️, and with this week being half term (no college 🙌), it’s been so nice to slow down at home and spend time with these two creatures 🐾❤️.

Animals really are the best stress relievers 😌 their purrs can even help regulate your heart rate 😻. They’re so much more than just pets!

Wow, where did that week go?

Today was Day 5 of SIM Motorsport Race School, and the day I graduated! 🎓

It has been a totally awesome week of being put through our paces on and off the track and everything else in between to continue my racing journey.

There are so many exciting things to come, and I look forward to bringing you all along for the ride 🏎

Thanks to everyone at SIM Motorsport, Simon, Alex, .ovenden, Connor, , sponsors, and all the other graduates we met along the way. It's been a pleasure.

Day 4 at SIM Motorsport Race School

Today we were in the Mazda MX5 at Oulton Park, with tricky conditions set by .ovenden and to test our mindsets and adaptability.

Overall, racing went well with the following results:

1st Race: Last ➡️ 4th
2nd Race: 14th ➡️ 2nd
3rd Race: 7th ➡️ 1st 🏁

In the 1st race today, I wore the Tobii Pro 3 glasses, which are advanced screen-based wearable eye trackers, checking my visual performance and reactions throughout the race, giving us data to help with further progression.
