Writing this post, i didn't know where to begin...
Stanton Ilkeston Ladies has officially come to an end after a hard decision to fold the team after over a decade of football, teams and friendships 💙
From start to end this has been a team that has truely been formed through togetherness and freindship.
From being young girls and finding the love for football to the amazing women that we all are today is truely something inspirational as the first stanton girls/womens team.
We have faught though the tough times together and come out the other side stronger, and smashed it in the good times and shown everyone just how good we can all be. For a ladies team that has put our club on the map its been a shame to not have support form our club for many years but despite that, we have shown our worth!
While we all move on and create new journeys we will never forget the team we all have been a part of. From the ladies that have been with us for nearly 15 years to players who have come and gone but all made a huge difference, i want to say thank you to you all 🫶🏻💙
It's a friendship and bond that will stay with us forever 💙
